Our afternoon and evening with Mersiha and Mustafa was simply the best! We had so much fun in the kitchen cooking Bosnian food, great conversations with the hosts and a delicious meal at the end. The generous amount of wine included added to the experience. I would highly recommend this experience!

We have done cooking courses around the world and this tops the lot! We had such a fun afternoon and evening with Mersiha and Mustafa. At the end of it we ended up both being astounded at how far dough can stretch and full of delicious food and wine. If you are in Sarajevo make sure you make time to do this.

Many thanks to Mersiha & Mustafa for a fantastic day. Mustafa showed us Sarajevo and told exciting stories about the city. Mersiha taught us how to make Burek and we ended up having a lovely dinner together. Thank you for your hospitality - we will definitely come back next time we are in Sarajevo.

We both did a Sarajevo tour with Mustafa and a cooking lesson with Merisha. Both experiences are unforgettable and we were so happy that we did it. Mustafa tells stories about the city and the war with an authenticity that makes you wanna learn more and more. Merisha is a perfect chef with a lot of patience and laughter. We felt extremely welcome in their homes and I feel like we got a shortcut into understanding the culture and history of the nation and the people much more in depth than what we would otherwise have been able to. I am happy to give my best recommendations for any other visiting Sarajevo. A must do!

First of all I would like to say thank you again to Mersiha and Mustafa for the great cooking course and for the meal together. It was super tasty and we had a great exchange. Mersiha shows you the techniques for making pita and other treats from Bosnia! I can absolutely recommend this. This day will definitely be remembered!

This wonderful culinary and cultural experience with chef Mersiha and her husband Mustafa was the highlight of our time in Sarajevo! Opening their home and life while teaching us how to cook traditional Bosnian meal reenforced why we love travel and have hope for mankind. This experience is a must !! Linda and Gary U.S.

We did the pita / burek course and it was the highlight of our visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mersiha and Mustafa are such a warm couple, they made us feel at home, spoiled us with homemade products and involved us in all phases of the preparation. Plus provided the recipes and video tutorial. So that today, a month later, we were able to bake delicious pita at home from scratch, including the dreaded phyllo dough.

I am so glad I had this local cooking experience! It is such a special memory and is one of the highlights of my time in Sarajevo. Even though I was so far from home, being with Mersiha and Mustafa in there house felt like spending an evening with friends! They were so welcoming and so much fun!! I learned many practical cooking tips and the food we made was delicious! The view from there house in the Sarajevo hills was stunning too. I highly recommend this; definitely a once in a lifetime experience you won’t forget!
