Like the bobsleigh run, this place oozes with atmosphere, besides being very beautiful.

We visited in the summer and parked our camper in the large car park in front of the restaurant. The wind moaned through the dilapidated buildings, which was really spooky.

We walked up to the top of the towers. The views were amazing and you could see the podium on which the world's best were awarded their medals.

Although it was the height of summer, there were very few people around.

Great place to be on a hot summer day - the only problem all those left in Sarajevo will have a similar opinion. My luck I used the motorbike, so was able to escape traffic jams. Be prepared for loads of Arab tourists, also women in burqas! The ski lifts are operating in the summer too, so it is possible to climb the ski jumps with them.

We visited on a day trip from Sarajevo, would have liked to gave seen more of the mountain ski resorts, but on a mid week day, the roads were not that clear, so this is as far as we got. Had a coffee in Hotel Han, great local cakes, dreadful coffee. Nice spot to watch the skiers

This is another absolutely Must visit in Sarajevo.

A fascinating dilapidated ski slope. You can climb to the top of the concrete structure and see some absolutely amazing views.

Accessible by a car journey from Sarajevo, taxi or as part of a tour.

This place screams both "f*ing awesome" and "f*ing tragic" at the same time, much in the same way as the bobsled run. It's something you have to kind of be there to understand. A must see if in the Sarajevo area.

We left Sarajevo for a one-day trip to Bjelasnica and IIgman during which we could admire the scenery in autumn colours.

Be far from the crowd of the city for few hours and enjoy a beautiful natural view of the mountains, greenery fields and long trees. Old Olympic ski run in 1984. Nice trail and stairs to the top of the mountain. One restaurant with wooden table offer a great cappuccino, badly needed after a tiresome walk and heavy rain. Play area for the kids.
Don’t forget to take photos near the Olympic podium.

It is a great pity that the buildings close to ski jumps are still in a dilapidated conditions, and that this place is so little exploited touristically. In any other country it would be hundreds of tourists enjoying - it is difficult to just come here from Sarajevo if you don't have a car, and once you are at Igman - there is nothing

This place has great atmosphere. If you close the eyes, you can imagine how famous this place was. The cablecar still works. Also the restorant works and there is very kind and nice old man who serves :) If you want, you can also go up to springboards. There is a nice view. And finally you can take a picture on olympic podium! We highly recommend to visit this place.

Don't miss the abandoned ski jumping slope, especially in the snow. Better park next to the restaurant.
