The best place to go on Sunday. All the people are positive and great atmosphere there. Highly recommend to visit. The red beautiful castle is also there.

This is a very impressive, imposing square with the wonderful juxtaposition of the Belarus central government building and accompanying Lenin monument next to a beautiful cathedral. We were there in January, so there weren’t too many other visitors, but that made it all the more grand. Would recommend stopping by, but if you don’t have time, don’t miss your flight for this one.

Huge Classic Soviet Square with lots of space and not so many people. If you are walking past it then you should probably have a look!

Well, it might be interesting for those not acquainted with Soviet massive architecture and landscaping, but don't expect much from this. This is a huge square with a huge plateau (beneath which is a 3 storey underground mall) encircled with massive concrete governement and administrative bldgs - government, Parliament and state University edifices, main post office, etc... Biggest attractions and best photo ops are the imposing Lenin's statue in the middle and the Red brick Catholic church making a huge contrast to the rest.

Incredibly huge square. Big squares are quite common here, but this is really super impressive. Central and famous, spend some time here!
