We took the time to head here after reading some of the reviews. We used the metro and the Uschod stop is very close to the library. The building is very modernist and contrasts with the Soviet tower blocks surrounding it. If you're heading here...More

The building is quite impressive looking - and right next to Dana Mall. The shape make it one of the more interesting libraries I have visited - though it is very Soviet in style. Pure glass and concrete! Nontheless, the overall feeling of the place...More

The viewing gallery at the very top of the building affords an extensive view of the city and highlights some of the most amazing contrasts between stunning & unusual new architecture, modern functional and old Soviet utilitarianism. No need to visit the actual library to...More

A beautiful building which is a stunning sight either in the sunshine or lit at night. You can't miss it on the way to the city centre from the airport.

There is a nice view point at the top of the building, and also a quiet cafe. I would recomend this place.

In the outskirts of the city , some 15 minutes with the Metro a huge diamond shaped building . The 3 lower floors is the library, you should go into it just to see the spacious lobby. Maybe not necessarily to pay entrance fee (...More

An interesting building a metro ride away from the center. Unfortunately the library was closed but we went to the observation deck at the back of the building. The views from there are okay but nothing spectacular.

It might be good to view the surroundings from the roof of the Library... But it's even better to view the building itself from the opposite site, in the lights of the sunset, and while lamps are pouring their electrical light from the inside of...More
