Hundreds of millions of people today live under regimes using the same methods as Hoxhas Security Service. This museum gives good insights in surveillance techniques, recruitement of informers, state propaganda methods, etc.

We visited here and it was worth the time to walk through it. The history, while a sad, was a very good documentation of how things were back then.

Mostly fax documents, pictures or some old apparatuses. However, some movie(?), recorded clips were very good to watch. Someone who lived in Albania as a translator(French embassy), tells a vivid experience when he was here in 1970’s for 3 years.
