I at least did walk over and climb the structure. It is in the beauty is in the eye of the beholder category of buildings. A bit more reading material might be helpful re the artist's goal. I would not go out of my way to see it but it is in step with many of the new architectural buildings in the city. Hey, at least there is no entry fee for 'The Cloud Pavillion'

This sculpture, made by a famous Japanese architect is a piece of modern art installation set in a small lawn across the Rinia park.
Imo, it's worth detouring, it rather looks like some kind of construction work, but they say it's art, so conclude yourself.

Another one of those modern art structures which is quite imaginative and is meant to reflect the connectivity of tech and cloud networks. It is all in the eye of the beholder. At least it is not just a banana duck-taped to the wall!

Fujimoto has brought us a piece from Japan. Every time we need to feel some modern and functional architecture we visit this place.
It has steps to seet and place for small parties.

The whole thing is a bit neglected. It is dirty and needs a good clean. On the whole a bit bleh! Our kids spent about 10 mins climbing and was done.

Worth a visit albeit for 10 minutes, it would be nice to bring a pack of cards and enjoy the space for an hour. The art museum (a few €) behind is also worth visiting to see true communist-style paintings giving a very vivid insight into the era post 1991. This cloud feature is great!!

It was said that the sculpture was made and donated by a Japanese artist, which was a surprise. It's definitely fun to see. You can go up, around, and inside the structure to look at different facets of it.

This is an interesting sculpture outside the art museum. To really appreciate it you should climb up inside of its scaffolding. The day I was there there was a small business meeting going on in the empty space inside the base of the sculpture ... pretty neat actually.

Did like seeing all the youth sitting and chatting in the cloud structure outside the museum on a warm fall day.
