This park is well-maintained, well-landscaped and quite lovely. It’s refreshing and a feast for your senses. Good to visit all year long.

Central Park is a small park but its full of things to do! A walking path for walkers and a small pond to just sit back and relax. The playground is huge and perfect for all ages!

I like this park. I do wish that the restrooms were open other than in the summer. There have been many times if the "off season" that we have had nice days and have gone to the park but the restrooms are closed down. The trees are beautiful and large. The squirrels are fun to watch and feed.

Growing up on Lexington Ave. across from Central Park was awesome as a child and gets better with age. They had added so much through the years , it is truly Ashland's 'Pride and Joy ! The ' Winter Wonderland of Lights ' , I have to say is our biggest attraction. Thanksgiving Eve is when they are turned on. Simply magnificent ! They add more lights every year! People come from miles around just to drive or walk around the park. With the Holiday Music playing, horse and carriage rides, along with the little trains makes for a wonderful evening for the whole family. The large historical homes that line the park are also a sight to see. The beautiful decorated old homes. Summertime is fun with many activities , concerts at the bandstand, summer motion , car shows and much more. Sitting by the beautiful pond and fountain ,have lunch or simply resting is one of the areas most desirable spots. In the fall is also a perfect time to visit. The vivid colors are simply beautiful. It is exactly one mile and a quarter for our runners , joggers and walkers.

Well maintained. Good playgrounds. Big for a city park for this sized town. Good paved paths and trails, well mowed.

This 40-50 acre public park near the center of town is flooded with daffodils in the spring. A nice lake to sail your model boat, picnic, eat a sandwich, or just relax and meditate.
Christmas light display is breathtaking, free admission, and you can drive through the length of the park as well as around the perimeter for a closer look--fantastic
Probably best to avoid after dark (as are most public parks).

This park across from the KIng's Daughters' Hospital is a wonderful place to walk while you wait for your loved one to come out of surgery or procedure. There are lovely water features, A fountain near the hospital and a trnquil pond. Plenty of bneches are nearby to rest upon.

This place is a gem during daylight hours, and on the side next to Lexington Ave. Fat squirrels running all over, quite fun to watch. There are benches aplenty, and beautiful fountains. However, the freaks come out at night. The transients frequent this park to do business with other transients after hours. The only safe time to be out here after dark is when the winter light display is up.

We were visiting a walk and took a walk through Central Park. It’s really lovely and a highlight of New York City. It’s great for a picnic and a nice day.

I was expecting more walking paths but did find nice playgrounds and a quiet pond to sit by. It was a nice, warm February morning to be outside so I couldn't complain.

I looked at the Winter Wonderland Facebook page for Central Park in Ashland but I couldn’t find anything about carriage rides. Anyone know if they do and if so, where do I find this information

I've seen people have weddings there, but i don't know who to contact about arranging one

There are a few shelters. Also, there is a small house that is frequently used for showers and other gatherings. The City of Ashland has a website that you can use for reservations.
