Beautiful park in downtown Ashland
Nov 2019
Central park is beautiful, with gorgeous fall colors in autumn and fields of daffodils in the spring. There are playgrounds and ballfields. The walk around the park is 1.25 mi. long which is a great walking or running track. This is a true crown jewel for the city.

This park is well-maintained, well-landscaped and quite lovely. It’s refreshing and a feast for your senses. Good to visit all year long.

Central Park is our local park in Ashland across from Kings Daughters Hospital. It has a beautiful pond with fish, a gazebo, an Old Log house where the little ones can visit with Santa at Christmas. The Christmas Lights are amazing and go all around the park. Different themes and are turned on around the same time as our Christmas Parade. Usually November 22-24. There is a ball park , a concession stand for the park, a dog park on one end of Central Park and a nice playground on the other end. Picnic table from one end to the other end. Restrooms. Indian mounds on the back side of the playground. There is a large gazebo for live bands and musicians on the back side of the park. Squirrels everywhere. Just a beautiful park to take your family too. In the spring there is an Easter Egg hunt for the children. Flowers are blooming and just beautiful.

Clean place!

It is refreshing to see a park that is taken care of! We love close and walk over a lot. There are a lot of things to do and it is nice to be able to walk around for some exercise. It seems like they are always doing something to improve it, too!

Well maintained. Good playgrounds. Big for a city park for this sized town. Good paved paths and trails, well mowed.

Love going to the part, ride your bike, walk, sit by the fountain and go to concession stand for a snack. Always a good time.

Love this park!
May 2019 • Family
This park has something for every age. Baseball, softball, volleyball, pickle ball, horse shoes, and more. You can relax by the pond or just walk around for your health. Always active. The best Christmas lights! Has the Library and plenty of playgrounds. (Even has a splash fountain) The park has concerts. I can’t name it all. But if you need a place for family or church picnic this is the place. Many a artist has painted or taken pictures of the park. B. Buckley Moss has some of my favorites.

Fantastic public park in Ashland
Aug 2018 • Family
This 40-50 acre public park near the center of town is flooded with daffodils in the spring. A nice lake to sail your model boat, picnic, eat a sandwich, or just relax and meditate.

Christmas light display is breathtaking, free admission, and you can drive through the length of the park as well as around the perimeter for a closer look--fantastic

Probably best to avoid after dark (as are most public parks).

The park is near downtown. I November and December there are multiple lighted displays. Every thing from the Nativity manger, ice skaters and even dinosors can be viewed by driving around the park.
