This is a wonderful place to learn about all aspects of pearls, their nature and discovery, their cultivation and variety. There is also an opportunity to buy, although this is by no means imposed or expected. The museum is precisely that…it is informative, well-resourced and...More

This museum is dedicated to the "culture" of the culture of pearls in the Tahitian way. You will feel more confident choosing your pearl after a visit here.

Free to get in and gives a great little explanation and displays of the pearls history. Also has some beautiful pieces for sale. Definitely worth the hour + to go thru and read the info, which is all in several languages.
