What a truly spectacular oasis! We were fortunate to have a few spare hours on our Island Cruise to come & visit here. This beautiful area was originally developed by the famous Hollywood actor Raymond Burr for his private extensive orchid collection - he had a deep passion for Fiji & it's warm friendly people, which has been donated back... This garden is very peaceful and if you want to take a much longer amount of time here then there are placed to sit and hammocks to lie in in the gardens. I have not given this 5 as there weren't as many flowers as I was expecting but they were still lovely gardens.

We hired a taxi to take us around before heading to an afternoon flight. I had read about this garden before I left. We saw tourists being dropped off a bus as we entered. I am so glad we didn't get the bus there as it is a very long, hot and dusty walk in. The entrance is cool and... More

The garden is very nice itself, but they do sell themselves as a huge compound with amazing flowers. It was not as expected, the area with flowers was tiny and almost everything was focused in the jungle walk. Which as beautiful as it was we got lost in! its worth a quick visit but i would not go out of... More

We came here right when it opened and were on a tight schedule. We truly enjoyed the walk, the upkeep of the garden is spectacular! The orchids, other flowers, and the interior was very beautiful and pristine. The staff treats you with a deliciously refreshing juice at the end of the walk! Our favorite part was the swing and hammock... More

It was very nice to stay away from the burning sun in a morning. My friend and I took the jungle walk and walked all the way to the hilltop. Overthere we had a great view overlooking the town and the islands from a distance.

We visited the garden as part of a tour. A guide took us part way along the path pointing out orchids of interest and then left us so we could roam along the jungle path. The garden was a lovely, peaceful place. I wish we could have spent more time there!

The orchid garden was just amazing. Love the different types of orchids and the jungle bush walk... Their tropical fruit juice is lovely too..
