ACCOMMODATION pics are PHOTOSHOPPED Dishonest manager unethical business practises
Mar 2020
Not real Firewalking in show.

Public toilets have lime scale and broken door locks.

General sense of neglect.

The real problem here is the accommodation and facilities in general.

Dirty, run down accommodations, rubbish under the edge of the pool, tarps on ALL the accommodation roofs.

Photos are not current not even last decade.... Facilities are worn out and the water sports equipment is faded from the sun.

Ants in the huts (many), and lime scale in the toilet. Rotted wood, mouldy grout. and broken tiles in the shower.

SQUALID

Virtually impossible to get a refund. Terrible experience.

Promised a refund I had to do a chargeback through my bank as did not honour agreement for a refund which I was promised would be prompt.

Lots of hidden extras (beware they are cleverly worded), Would NEVER be allowed to continue to operate in NZ

Read the terrible reviews on trip advisor and BELIEVE them....

The truth is there is no money inside this business to be spent on maintenance or acting ethically.

Don't stay whatever you do - if you want the firedance / just do dinner even better do a show on the mainland.

Well worth the time and money
Sep 2019
We visited this island within the cultural day tour and it was great. Very knowledgeable and diligent young staff played roles of hosts, dancers, nature and cultural guides, you name it. Next time we'll stay in the bungalows for a couple of days at least.

Very enjoyable
Sep 2019
This is a bit 'touristy', but in a limited amount of time you get a lot if information about the area, people, plants, history, customs, and experience a lot of local activities (such as picking and preparing coconuts). Food and drinks included. Take your swimming gear along and decide on the spot whether you want to go swimming or just relax and enjoy the scenery (or read a book) between organized events.

Relaxing 3 days
Jan 2020
This is a backpacker hotel with dorms or private cabins. We stayed in a cabin which was comfy and clean. Very laid back which makes for a relaxing stay. There are activities, but most people sunbathed by the beach or swam. Or enjoyed drinks and socializing at the bar. Totally enjoyable time.

Great day and something not so great
A very well organized trip for the day. Be prepared to arrive at your hotel way past 11pm at the end of the day. Lots of things to do on the island. Snorkling ( there are masks and snorkels ), mudcrab fishing and preparing soup of them, crab racing or just bathing in the sea. A really nice day for the kids. The evening show is spectacular if you like to watch dancing.
The not so great things were that a member of the staf screemed at my 13 year old daughter to get out of tbe bathroom when she was on her way in. My daughter is a timid and quiet girl and she was shaken after the insident, because she didnt do anything than try to enter the bathroom.
I found it very distasteful that both in the village we visited and on the Island were donation boxes. I really hope that Robinson Crusoe Island Tours pay the villages for their hospitality and if not then they should begin. Donation are random and unjustful.

Bula pr2621, Vinaka for your review on our popular Combo Cruise. It can be a long day depending on where you are staying. Some guests enjoy the value for money getting in some site-seeing on a comfy aircon coach. My most sincere apologies for the staff member who was rude to your daughter, its most unusual behavior indeed. Ill mention this at our next staff meeting. The donation boxes are just for a tip, same as one would at dinner for example. You're certainly not obliged to. RCIT pays the village an entry fee per person and donates towards other extraneous expenses when needed. The main thing is you thought the experience was well organised and the evening show spectacular. Vinaka vakalevu, Margarita and team.

One of our best holidays ever
Jan 2020
This was our first trip to Fiji but we are frequent travelers so we always check the reviews on Tripadvisor and other sites just to be sure we pick the best place as possible. Honestly, this was our best journey ever, staff is excellent, Torika, Cawn, Luke and all the other staff members are all wonderful people. Margarita the general manager is doing an excellent job, however everything was almost perfect, she could add some nice touches to our stay, actually I was truly crying when I left the island after 10 days. Food is good, not too various but it was always delicious, we loved especially the curry dinners . As we spent 10 days on the island, I believed the island shows (we had 4 during our stay) will be boring for the 4th time but hell, we enjoyed it every time. It has its constant elements but it was so diverse, funny, amazing and entertaining. We loved the community table where we enjoyed our dinners together with the other hotel guests on the nights when there was no island show and we left the island with new friendships. Bungalows are not too big but you are going to spend your whole day on the beach, so it was perfect for a good night sleep. However the temperature is high outside, bungalows are cool inside, ceiling fan is enough,I could sleep very well. The only thing I missed is some shelves, there are some hooks inside but I would prefer some shelves to put my clothes out from my luggage, otherwise it was ok. Overall I truly recommend to stay on the island even for longer period, it was not boring at all, we could stay longer. Thank you for the amazing experience, Likuri Island and its people will always have a special place in my heart.

Bula Monika, Vinaka for your review, we absolutely loved having you all stay with us. Sharing our little island paradise is such a pleasure for us. Seeing the tears on departure is hard for us too especially after having you for such a long stay. Your review covered everything really well and the feed back on extra shelves are noted. Just one point I'd like to mention is the mainland tours that can be arranged with free daily boats. We have just introduced a Donut Ride and have a new Spa Manager who uses natural products like coconuts and tropical fruits in one of her facials, now that's worth coming back for!! Sending our lolomas and miss you all. Tropical regards, Margarita and team.

Bula Deb, We are very thankful for your 5 * review. Its hard to determine if you experienced the Cultural Day Cruise or the Sunset Cruise & Dinner Show. Cultural Day Cruise does include drinks as long as your not on a discounted fare. Vinaka for choosing RCI. Tropical regards, Margarita and team.

Nice comfortable bus ride and local boat ride out to the island to experience a night we will never forget. The ceremony and traditions were wonderful to watch and the night show is well worth seeing. Congratulations on giving us wonderful night to remember.

Robinson Crusoe Tours Day and Night Combo
A must in Fiji!!!
Jan 2020 • Family
Cannot fault this trip at all. Family of 6 here with 2 young children 3 & 4 and we had the best time. The staff are amazing and there was so much to do on the Island or you could just do nothing at all. The food was delicious both lunch and dinner and the show was the cherry on top. Our tour guide was amazing as well. One of the highlights for me was the boat ride home in the pitch black darkness you could just see the stars for miles right down to the horizon it was spectacular. My babies got to swim, snorkel and kayak all day long they loved it. This is a must you get free transfers to and from most Nadi hotels so that's a bonus.

Bula Shaeshae, Wow, no faults!! Vinaka for bringing your family to our little island paradise. Its a big day but so worth it - first with the Village and Mud Crab tour followed by lunch and activities on the island and that's all before the amazing dinner show. I can't thank you enough for appreciating the cruise home under the stars, imagine a full moon as well!! The pick up points are from the Warwick on the coral coast to Nadi/Denarau/Airport. Being ideally located right in the middle of the coral coast and Nadi allows for all visitors to enjoy our experience. The resort on the island - Likuri Island Resort is a wonderful stay, all activities and entertainment are FREE to the guests staying. We hope to see you again one day. Tropical regards, Margarita and team.

A must see excursion...
Jan 2020
The show was highly entertaining and there was a lot of cultural facts sprinkled in the entire event that I liked. They were friendly and explained the different aspects well as we transitioned from one area to another.

Travel to/from the island gave me a pause but there wasn’t anything wrong with it just not what I was used to. It is a wet landing once you get to the island. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes. Water landing came right up above my ankles.

Overall a good trip and very entertaining evening.

Bula Bocephus, Vinaka vakalevu for your review. Its wonderful to hear you enjoyed but enjoyed the Sunset Dinner Cruise experience. Its nice to venture out of the comfort zone sometimes and try something new. Heels and closed shoes are not recommended since we are all sand as well. We encourage our guests to enjoy the feeling of sand between your toes. Wet landing is only on one vessel, unfortunately, your boat was not one of them. We are thrilled your had a good trip and had an entertaining evening. Tropical regards, Margarita and team.
