Rongohiva Watersports, leaving from the Harbour, provided a "thrillseekers" ride for me and my family in March. We all enjoyed it and would certainly do it again. The crew were very professional in regards to safety and information. The riders in the front were enjoying the almost 'roller coaster' like ride :) and of course there was a certain amount of spray!!! Take a waterproof camera if you have one. The trip itself took about an hour..I think, so need to allow time for instructions etc.as well. The boat is a fantastic idea and we wish you well in your new venture. We LOVED it!!!

I have been on boat rides before but never on a speed boat. Rongohiva (Etu Rere) thank you so much for the experience and fun. From the beginning departing the harbour, out in the open deep, blue/purpleish water that was just so much fun :) you could just hear everyone on board (including myself) screaming out of excitement. The crew were very informative, and made sure that everyone was safe and most importantly having a good time. If you're looking for speed fun, I would highly recommend this trip. It is worth it

Thank you so much Jackie and your wonderful team "P.S the captains were awesome, knew how to entertain everyone" :)

Our children aged 7 and 10 spent an hour on the wonderful water obstacle course in the harbor. Life jackets are provided and water shoes are recommended, although our kids did not wear water shoes. Minimum age is 7.

The employees were very nice and spent the hour taking the kids around the course, helping them back up if they needed it, getting the rope swing to them etc. My children loved it! Absolute blast! They ask every day to go back. Thank you so much for the great experience!

Highly recommend and a MUST when visiting.

Our family of 2 adults 4 children enjoyed a speedboat trip during our visit in January. The first telephone call to Jackie was so helpful and accommodating to our family with ages ranging from 6 to 14. We were having 2 days of our 14 day stay with windy weather, but were advised by Jackie that winds are not an issue as the boat will go on the side of the island to not be exposed to the winds. We booked the trip for the following day and met Jackie and the crew at the harbour. We were briefed on safety etc and went out with no expectation of so much fun. The speedboat was awesome and thoroughly enjoyed by all. None of us wanted it to end. The 360's and the speed of the boat kept us smiling the whole time. Even our 6 year old just kept saying "awesome". Jackie is one of the nicest person you will ever meet in life and he kindness is evident in her beautiful family. This activity is well run and I believe it will be one of the most popular activities to undertake while visiting the Cook Islands.

This is a very exciting and professionaly run tour. As a local (30 years) my grandson & I treat ourselves on our shared birthday every year. This year we took 10 year old Oliver and his friends on the snorkeling trip. What an experience, we'll be back.

We decided to try a whale watching trip as we weren't having a lot of luck spotting any from land.

Jackie and the crew took as out and were lucky to see a mother and calf. After trying to spot find other whales - for which they were not cooperating we were given a sample of the speed boat rides that are available and did we have fun and also managed to get a little wet at the same time.

Rongohiva Watersports provided us with a great time and we couldn't wipe the smiles of our faces for hours after the trip.

Would recommend this trip and Jackie and the crew were very welcoming.

Wow, what fun!!! Shame the whales were hiding that day, but the team made sure we had an awesome time snorkelling and doing donuts in the boat. By far our best day on Raro!!

I was lucky enough to go out on a boat trip with Rongohiva on a previous trip to the Cook Islands and this time I bought my family to experience this. We booked in for a speed boat ride, snorkel and banana boat ride. The crew are so professional and the boat and equipment second to none. The colour of the water was the deepest blue and so clear you could still see the bottom even though it was over ten metres deep!. We got the chance to do some snorkelling in this magic water before off for a fun banana boat ride. The kids also had a go on the new water park that Rongohiva have opened in the harbour, There were lots of laughs and some big challenges! Life jackets and snorkelling gear was supplied. Thoroughly recommended - the best day

Our group booked a speed boat and banana boat tour with Rongohiva. We booked directly with Jackie at the Rongohiva hut which was right next to the Punanga Nui market. She was very professional and answered all of our questions. On the day of our trip we were all fitted with lifejackets and boarded the boat in the harbour. The whole crew were so enthusiastic and welcoming. A few of our group were a bit apprehensive but the safety briefing put their mind to rest. Jackie had also told us that all the crew are certified as lifeguards. The boat and all their equipment was first rate - everything looked new and well maintained. They also have go pros in position to film all the action - you can buy a memory stick to share with your group. You can still also bring your own go pro.The speed boat was amazing - so fast and fun!!! I had never been on a banana boat before but that was a blast - so much fun riding it with my friends. The colour of the water out to sea was incredible - deep blue but so clear you could still see the bottom even though it was about 20 metres deep. A must do attraction while you are in Raratonga
