I used Exclusive Inka Tour for 2 amazing days while in Cusco. I booked private tours with them, and Hjimmy (aka Jimi) was my driver/guide for both days. He was excellent, a good driver, and really fun to spend the day with. The first day we went to Humantay Lake, and the second day we went to Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca). Both places were great, and I am really glad that I did both tours. Note that for both the Humantay and Rainbow tours, they are especially worth it as they are not only about the Lake and the Mountain, but also about the journey, seeing the other mountains (Salkantay, Ausangate), and experiencing the local culture up close. Also, a private tour is a more personalized experience, allows you to leave Cusco at a reasonable time, and still beat the crowds.

We were a group of four traveling from Cusco to Aguas Calientes via the Sacred Valley Tour. We found Exclusive Inka Tour on a blog (back from Pre-COVID times - we honestly did not know what to expect). We are so glad we did as this was the highlight of our entire trip to Peru, mostly thanks to our incredible tour guide, Oscar.

Day 1: The Sacred Valley
Oscar guided us through the Sacred Valley, making stops at Pisac, Moray, the salt mines of Maras, and Ollantaytambo. It is a full day of driving and stopping at these sites but worth every minute. Each site was more breathtaking than the last, and Oscar’s deep knowledge and insights into the Inca history added an immense value to this extraordinary day. The sites alone are incredible, but this tour is unique in that we learned the history of the Sacred Valley/Inca times but we also discussed Peru today and Oscar shared with us his experiences growing up and giving us a glimpse into what it's like being a local. We were expecting to have a buffet or cheap lunch but Exclusive Inka Tour's never fails. Between the four iconic stops above, Oscar introduced us to local gems, such as Chicheria Yola and an authentic empanada stand. We loved every part of this day. After this day, I would say visiting Maras, Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley is close to or just as important as visiting Machu Pichu.

Day 2: A Birthday to Remember
The second tour day we booked was for my birthday, and Oscar made it an unforgettable celebration. We didn't have anything planned in advance and we asked Oscar if we could book with him or if he could provide us recommendations. We started the day feeding llamas, I was even able to bottle feed a two month old baby Llama named Maya! For lunch, we had a three course meal that was delicious and beautifully prepared. And, after, the staff offered to allow us to paint in front of the Andes mountains until our reservation was over. We had another local tasting that blew our minds and it was all thanks to this tour company's relationships within the community. Oscar went above and beyond to ensure that every moment was special, and by the end of our tour, our group felt like we had gained a new friend.

Oscar’s dedication to his work and his passion for sharing the beauty and culture of Peru were evident in every aspect of the tour. Everything went smoothly, and he struck the perfect balance between professionalism and fun. If you’re planning a trip to the Sacred Valley, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Oscar. It will be the highlight of your journey.

Highly recommend!

Our family of four spent almost a week in the Sacred Valley visiting Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo, Urubamba, Moray, Maras, Pisac, Cusco, and other places as well. We decided that to make the most of our time, we should hire a full-time guide for the entire duration of our trip, something I normally wouldn't do. Fortunately, we came across Oscar and Exclusive Inka Tour! Oscar's team planned our entire itinerary, taking into account our arrival/departure locations and where we wanted to stay in between. Oscar truly maximized our ability to see as many things as possible! We didn't even realize until we arrived in Peru and met Oscar, that he had trained in university specifically for tourism. He really knows the history, culture, and customs of the Inka and the Sacred Valley! I cannot recommend Oscar enough! We all loved our time with him, and in fact we found ourselves incredibly sad to say goodbye at the end of our trip. Our kids even commented on how much they were going to miss him. He's just a wonderful person and very sincere and helpful to the utmost degree in every way. One last thing, there is more to see and do in the Sacred Valley than one thinks. Plan to spend 5-7 days if you can.

We worked with Exclusive Inka Tour to book a nine day trip around Peru. We started our trip in Lima then traveled to the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco. From coordinating with Cintya to get everything organized and booked to the actual tours and transfers, everything was seamless and made our trip amazing!

Cintya worked with us to book all airport/hotel transfers, tours in Lima, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco, and all Machu Picchu logistics. She was responsive, provided clear details about what the tours included and pickup times, and answered all of our questions. Coordinating travel around Peru and specifically, Machu Picchu, can be quite involved, and working with Cintya made the process so easy!

All of our transfers arrived on time or early, so we never had to worry about missing a flight/train or part of the tour.

The actual tours were incredible! Our guides were extremely knowledgable about the history of what we were seeing and provided us with a lot of information about Peru. They were personable and by the end of each tour, we felt like we had known our guide for much longer than a few hours. They all spoke excellent English and were very engaging to talk with. We got to spend several days with Oscar, the owner, and he is absolutely wonderful! He told us how he started his company, shared stories about his family, and made us feel so welcome. He also knows so much about the sites we saw and Peruvian history. Oscar truly made our Peru trip so memorable and one that we will never forget!

If you are thinking about going to Peru, book your trip right now! The food is some of the best we have had in our lives, the Peruvian people are so welcoming and there is so much incredible history. Exclusive Inka Tour will make planning easy and your experience while in Peru one that you will cherish forever!

The tour and service were outstanding. Gorkio and Oscar were excellent guides with amazing insights into the local culture and history. They handled a couple of transportation glitches, such as flight and train delays very well. My one suggestion might be that their prices are too low. I priced the same itinerary with other companies and got quotes that were two to three times as high.

Day 1: Sacred Valley - Had the best time with Oscar. His professionalism as both a guide as well as a local was unmatched. He helped us book numerous other days while in Sacred Valley and Cusco.

During our day in Sacred Valley, he would offer to take our pictures and got some great shots! We saw everything and learned a ton! We truly felt we had someone who cared about our experience and education as opposed to other groups that just do generic days.

As someone who has traveled fairly extensively, I can confidently say that Oscar and EIT offer the best customer service from any tour company I've worked with. Oscar and I communicated for days after our tour and I will forever look back fondly on the day in Sacred Valley.

Day 2: Machu Picchu -

EIT helped us book our tour for Machu Picchu THE DAY BEFORE WE WENT. Oscar and Cyntia were able to get us a guide and helped us coordinate our arrival at Machu Picchu. Their level of customer service and care is above any other.

Sergio was our guide for Machu Picchu and he maintained this excellent level of service. His experience as a guide (3 tours a day sometimes at Machu Picchu) was excellent and we learned more than we expected to! He took amazing photos of us (me and my wife) and new how to creatively remove any other people in them.

Our whole day at Machu Picchu was perfect because of Sergio and EIT. 10/10 recommend!

Day 3: Cusco

Again, EIT and Oscar were able to provide us a guided tour of Cusco, booked the day before. Always conscientious of how much time and energy we are looking to spend on a tour in a given day. Oscar and Cyntia booked us for a half day with Gorki, a local who was very accommodating to what my wife and I wanted to see, while also providing excellent in's and outs of the city. We felt we got to learn about the history, but also the local character of Cusco, without being overwhelmed with crowds or lectures! I wish all tour companies took this level of care with their customers!

We (father and two sons) had 2 days in Cusco before doing the 4 day Inca Trail trek. We hadn't really made plans and wanted someone to show us the Sacred Valley. We contacted Oscar the day before and he was very accommodating. The first thing he did was ask what we enjoy the most (history, architecture) and what we weren't as interested in doing (shopping). He then proposed a plan for the next two days that was perfect for us and served as our guide. As a guide he is excellent having grown up in the area.

When you compare your options of a group tour with a set agenda or hiring a taxi for the day with no guide, Exclusive Inka Tour really stands out as a better option.

We (me and my wife) did the private all day tour of the Sacred Valley, half day tour of Pisac, and the City tour of Lima. Oscar was the guide for the first two and his associate did the Lima Tour. All tours were excellent. Oscar is a historian and kept the tour very informative and with his jokes light hearted as well and made it extremely enjoyable. Cintya who coordinated the tours was very responsive and customized the tours per our request. We are so glad we found this outfit and are recommending to our friends.

My partner and I had a wonderful time with Oscar seeing Ollantaytambo, Pisac, and the salt mines. We learned so much about the Inka and the advanced civilization they created. So much we did not know that Oscar taught us. Oscar also picked us up and transferred us to our hotel in the sacred Valley. He and Cintya are both very friendly and care about their guests. He put up with my fear of heights and made me feel comfortable LOL. I highly recommend their company!

Exclusive Inka Tour was very accommodating to our specific trip preferences and needs. They were very prompt with communication and all tour guides were very knowledgeable and kind! My boyfriend and I went on a rainbow mountain tour, as well as a sacred valley tour and animal sanctuary tour. All of these experiences were amazing and so easy to navigate with the help of inka tour. This company also helped us with bus and train tickets which was a huge help. Overall, our experience couldn’t have been better and we appreciate our guides so much! Would recommend to anyone.
