Its is incredible how these little towns managed to build these amazing churches. We visited ( and said a quick prayer) while staying over night at local monestary. A celebration went most of the night with parades, bands, singing and fireworks.
Beautiful church in the small courtyard of Urubamba. The church is a gem and the people are so proud of it. Stop for a bit, light a candle and just look at this incredible gem and piece of architecture in this sweet Village.
Sunday afternoon in Urubamba? Head into town and visit the main plaza and church! The plaza is great for people watching- there were bands playing the day we were there. The church is a pretty one, don't miss it!
