Go if you REALLY want to know!

It's a long trek to the Potato Park, but very informative. I would not recommend this with children. Also, it's 2K feet higher than Pisaq, so be aware of the changing altitude.

We contacted the director via email the day before we were planning to go. He responded saying that we had had to contact 48 hours in advance although the website never mentions this. He also said we had to pay 100% of the (still undisclosed) fee before we go. We just drove to one of the communities and to the... More

This is not just a place to visit, people here make an important job, they preserve native potatoes, I tried this native potatoes, it was wonderful to try so many varieties, some of them have purple pigments, that are antioxidants, also there is a beautiful lake, if you want you can spend a night at a local's house, it's not... More
