About
In 2011 we started a small organic farm. We produce many of our own vegetables, quinua and potatoes. Our farm is worked without agrochemicals or synthetic fertilizers, using many traditional techniques (plowing with oxen, rotating crops and biological controllers for pests & disease). A traditional Incan meal cooked on hot rocks, the Pachamanca Lunch includes a tour of our hotel, farm, Cañazo distillery and coffee roastery. Lunch includes chicken, pork, and lamb, potatoes, organic vegetables and salad, and chicha morada. It is served at covered picnic tables with views of the mountains, glaciers and archeological sites. We accommodate most dietary restrictions. For guests not staying with us, we ask for a 50% deposit in advance. Cancellations or modifications must be made before 8pm the day prior to the reservation, otherwise we charge the full amount of the deposit as a cancellation fee. Daily at 12 PM & 2:30 PM; $40USD (Adult), $30USD (Child); total duration: approx. 2 hours.

Perfect lunch in a beautiful organic farm setting!
Jun 2021 • Couples
Our “panchamukha” lunch was delicious! It was a great experience to watch them cook our food directly in the ground. Everything we ate was grown directly on their organic farm! Highly recommend!

Come here to see all of the wonderful fresh and organic veggies that are served at the Albergue restaurant. The highlights are the Alpacas, who will eat clover leaves out of your hand!!

Farm Lunch
Oct 2019
Decided to try their "Farm Lunch", a traditional Andean style of cooking in the ground, similar to the Hawaiian cooking in an "imu". We were shown the cooking process, then given a tour of their farm while our lunch cooked underground. Besides growing produce, raising animals, they have a distillery and coffee roasting operation on the farm. The lunch of assorted meats, various varieties of potatoes roasted in the ground was delicious.

Nothing special. Over priced.
Skip it and do something else.
Very friendly people but meats were awful.

Great restaurant with high quality artisanla items for sale.

Great food and you get to watch the trains passing right outside the window. Do not queue up outside the station...just tell the guard you are going to Alberque...he will let you in without a train ticket.

Beautiful respite in the heart of railway chaos
Sep 2019 • Couples
Didn't eat here, and regret not doing so... But we did tour their gardens/ grounds, coffee roastery, small farm animals, and distillery - which were all a positive experience. Friendly staff attending to all the previously mentioned areas on the property, very good coffee and their distilled liquors are unique and tasty too. We bought some of both products for home, then hit their Cafe Mayu on our way back up the hill to Ollantaytambo proper. The only struggle with whether to stay or eat at their property is the proximity to rest of town and that of the railroad... If you are only in Ollantaytambo for the night before taking the train to Aguas, then this would be a great place to stay and eat, but if you are passing more time in Ollantaytambo, it's location is not ideal since the walk down to it from Ollantaytambo can be obnoxious if any trains are due since there is very limited pedestrian walking space down main road to the train station where this is located.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your time exploring our farm, coffee roasting and distillery operations. We appreciate your compliments and will be sure to share your kind words with our team. There is a more tranquil path that leads to the town that we recommend our guests use when staying with us. This allows them to avoid the busy road to the train station during peak traffic times. We hope you enjoyed your time in Ollantaytambo and that you will have the opportunity to stay with us on your next visit to the area. Saludos and safe travels!

Our Pachamanca lunch was actually our favorite meal in Peru! A must do! Giselle (I’m not quite sure if the spelling of her name is correct) was fantastic, you can tell she has a passion for her work. Highly recommend adding this to your itinerary. We even bought some delicious Peruvian coffee there and the chichamorada drink was the best we found

Great to find that it was your own organic Farm next to Hotel, supplying all ingredients . The freshest taste we have found anywhere on our travels in Peru..
We were spoilt by such a personal experience at your Pachamancha lunch with a delicious meal cooked especially for us as we watched and learned about the traditional way of preparing food

Lovely Panchamanca lunch - accommodate food allergies
Jul 2019 • Family
Did the 2:30pm Panchamanca lunch and there were only 5 people in our group. This is basically a long lunch where you're surrounded by really pretty grounds. Impressive to hear about the care and thought they put into all of their animals, their farming, their production of product. The lady explaining everything to our group did an outstanding job with the tour and description. They offer a tasting of their on-site alcohol (we didn't try) and their coffee (very light/smooth). The lunch is cooked in the ground (if you've ever been to Hawaii or a luau - kind of like that). We have food allergies to gluten and soy and they were more than accommodating to our family, which we appreciated. We were served a brownie at the end that when we questioned it they quickly exchanged for fruit. If you're in town and looking for a change of pace, this is a really peaceful place to spend a couple hours and the way they set the table makes you feel like you're in a magazine with Chip and Joanna Gaines. My favorite part was watching the alpacas/llamas grazing by the end of our table. This would be a beautiful place for a wedding reception or private party. On a side note, there's also a school on site that you can tour if you ask at the front desk.
