Fantastic place to meditate - Thank you Sungate Tours

Sungate Tours made sure we saw what we came for. To meditate, even for a little while, in this sacred place is a memory I will cherish.

As with all of Machu Picchu very interesting and certainly worth the time to have a close look care must be taken as I did see a few people having difficulty with uneven steps.

It’s another piece of amazing masonry at Machu Picchu. However, area was roped off and I couldn’t get too close to it.

This place is truly a marvel to behold and can only be (partially) understood by witnessing it! Seize the opportunity to visit here.

On the outer edge of Machu Picchu stands a wall-like structure supporting three massive stone framed windows. Misty clouds float lazily the windows. The Urubamba Rivers roars past the tower-like citadel, mthousands of feet below the Theee Windows..

The signs may be misleading, but you won't miss the building. The stonework is eye catching. It stands out easily.

There is so much to take in on the site. The three 'windows' are beautifully designed. I really can't remember all the guide told us but this part stands out. The large blocks are finely hewn and perfectly balanced. What would the Incas have done with present day technology?
