We rode the overnight bus from Chiclayo to Chachapoyas on 12/29 and then returned 12/30. 2 10 hour bus rides back to back doesn't seem ideal but it was great! The seats were comfortable. Slept great(with earplugs). There were kids on the bus that used the speakers in the ceiling. It was loud but they only played one movie so there was no noise after that. Inside tip: Be the first on the bus and turn down all the ceiling speakers. They provided a blanket which was nice. TONS of space to stretch out. Thanks to Movil, we had a good, cheap sleep and got to and from our destination safely. Looking forward to our next trip!

After I read all these bad comments I was really concerned, but actually my ride was pretty good. I drove around 8h nightbus from Trujillo to Huaraz. Me and my friend we sat in the last row on the second floor, but we still could recline ur seats luckily. I could turn off the speaker over us from the TV and after 00.15a.m. the TV was turned off. (we startet at 9.45pm and watched one movie til the end, which was at 00.15a.m.) The food was just a slice of cake and a bread with some cheese. The cake was good, the bread not. No Wifi on board. But I didn't cared because I was sleeping.

24 hr trip Chachapoyas-Perú: Bad smell from toilet since the beginning of the trip Rude staff Violent noisy TV films at high volume Seats recline 140-160 .. But not enough space for legs --- I regret having used this company. Use Civa instead

We took the 9:30am Economico ($29 soles) bus from Huaraz to Lima. The bus was 2 hours late (scheduled for a 15:30 arrival) and we missed our flight from Lima to Cusco (19:30). This bus advertised WiFi but it did not have it. The clock on the bus was off by 2 hours. They did not have a back up driver, so we had to stop for at least 30 minutes at a gas station for a rest. There were additional stops along the way. I would not recommend Movil and especially not an Economical fare if you have to be somewhere at a specific time (even with a 4 hour buffer).

These guys almost left us at a bus stop with absolutely nothing. They don't care to look if your back on the bus before they leave and they don't care if all of your things are on their bus when they leave. The attendant was looking right at us when he stepped back on the bus and it started driving away. We ran after them banging on the door and the attendant just pointed at the drivers. He didn't try to stop them or anything.
