About
Microteatro is a new kind of entertainment that combines gastronomy, bar , music and art. In 5 rooms of a house in Barranco happen 5 plays of 15 minutes for a total of 15 audience per room. Each of this rooms are no larger than 15 square meters . This plays in each room are repeated until 6 times all night Also in this big old house there is a space that functions as lounge where you wait to be called to see the plays you chose. There is good music playing at the lounge, and you can enjoy a varied menu of food and drinks with or without alcohol. The lounge of Microteatro also functions as an art gallery where every season new and established artists show their work. The artwork on our walls are also for sale. Microteatro`s seasons last 5 weeks, which means that every 5 weeks we change completely our billboard. NEAR PUENTE DE LOS SUSPIROS BRIDGE

Love the concept and the execution of it! My wife and I saw "el, mama, y yo"--We were very happily surprised to see that the "theater" takes place in a room/setting with you, the audience sitting around that room/setting as though you're actually IN the performance. This one took place in a teenager's bedroom and had just two actors--the teen and his mom...We, the audience, were essentially silent guests in his bedroom. The acting seemed great....quite a bit of drama/emotion...
We don't speak much Spanish but the play was short enough to get the fish

This place is reaaly cool, a blast! You can watch or paticpate in mre than 2-3 theater pices per night,; meanwhile you wait for the next one, try that barman´s drinks, amazing and cheap. Or just hang around the gallerie and patio at the classical house where is located.

Good food, drinks and theatre

An excellent way to enjoy Peruvian theatre without having to endure hours of silence. Many travellers would love to experience local theatre but may not be comfortable with their command of the language. 2 hours of not knowing what is going on is not a great prospect.

At Microteatro plays last only 15 minutes so you get the theatre experience and have plenty or time to enjoy the great food and drink at the bar.

Service logistics could be better if one could order directly from those who serve you (rather than a single till) but it's made up by quality.

The vibe is great, barranco but not so trendy it is annoying and open to any type of pundit.

Very much worth the visit.

Intimate theater at the microteatro was a worthwhile way to spend my night in Barranco! I was impressed with the acting and it was reasonably priced.
