We had an amazing two week adventure with Peruvian Soul. We worked closely with Jesus Martel who was exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and helpful. He has such a passion for his country and is so excited to share it with others. We worked together to come up with an amazing itinerary that truly took us off the beaten path and let us experience the best Peru has to offer.
We were perfectly teamed up with Cesar as our guide and Guido as our driver. The four of us (along with my 21 year old son) quickly became a little family and set about exploring Cusco and the Sacred Valley. Whether we were hiking, climbing, kayaking, biking, horseback riding or eating, we laughed the entire time. Cesar was chosen for us because he's an amazing photographer and got some phenomenol drone coverage of our activities. He put together videos for us and great photos that made our adventure extra special. Guido is our beloved Teddy bear who always made sure we were safe, hydrated and happy. We are all friends for life now. What an amazing country they shared with us. They taught us some of the local dialect, introduced us to many of the indigenous foods (alpaca, yes! cuy... not so much) and introduced us to some lovely local people.
Maria and Yussef at Hacienda Sarapampa are truly a delight. Javier and Wilson at El Corcel Blanco stables were outstanding as were their horses. No tired stable nags there. Carlito with Amazonas Explorer kept us laughing all through our kayaking and biking adventure through Moray and Moras. All the lovely people at The Llama Project and the local shepherds were fabulous. The 1300 ft vertical climb up the cliff at the Sky Lodge for zip lining was amazing and Amerigo, Ulysses and Jazz were fantastic about making sure we were safe, got great pics and were so encouraging to my son who has a great fear of heights.
Everyday brought a new adventure with exciting new activities and new friends. Such lovely people and such a stunning country. Peruvian Soul really knows how to show you the best of the best. Cesar and Jesus talked everyday to make sure things were perfect for us. They made us feel truly valued and appreciated all the while we were so grateful to and impressed by them.
If you are coming to Peru, I wholeheartedly recommend Peruvian Soul. They listen to what you want and will structure your trip accordingly. They make sure that you experience the authentic Peru and see the best of what their beautiful country has to offer.

I'm sure you are taking a bit of Peru in your heart, but these drone videos horseback riding, kayaking and biking excursions in remote and untouched areas of the country, will help you remember this trip for the rest of your life.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Peruvian Soul! I’ve always done my travel without an agency so I was nervous hiring a group for the first time.
The entire trip was planned flawlessly and Jesus (our trip planner) really made sure to incorporate all the places and experiences that we were most interested in. Our local guides in each city (Abraham, Julio and Danny) were fantastic as well. They really helped us to feel like family and show us the tourist sites as well as local experiences. They were also good about giving us our space when we wanted to explore solo or accommodating any changes we needed.
Between Machu Picchu, the vinicunca mountain, the panchamanca meal and all the wonderful people, Peru is a country we will never forget!
I recommend Peruvian soup to anyone considering travel to Peru, it will be the experience of a lifetime!

Peruvian Soul is amazing!! They crafted a truly unique dream vacation to Machu Picchu and the Galapagos. Nicholas and the entire team navigated the challenges of Covid in the most exceptional ways and took all the stress away to experience a dream vacation of a lifetime. Julio is a world class guide who lead our trip through Peru. We got to see the sunrise over the Temple of the Sun near the one day after the solstice and we got to see the full effect and connect with the ancient Incas through this shared experience. It was truly breathtaking and a result of the wisdom and experience of our guide Julio who knew the intricacies of arriving at just the right moment. The Galapagos was also amazing, and the team took care of the intricacies of traveling there so we could enjoy swimming with Penguins worry free! Truly remarkable, I highly recommend Peruvian Soul.

It was a pleasure to have you with us after long months of waiting due to the covid restrictions. We are glad you finally made it to Peru and Ecuador, and the trip was up to your expectations. The Galapagos Islands are indeed a natural paradise hardly to beat. Swimming with dolphins, penguins, Galapagos sharks, marine iguanas, tortoises, manta rays among many other fantastic creatures, is something INCREDIBLE.
And Peru, our homeland, a country full of culture and history that never ceases to surprise us. You were lucky enough to be at the right time with the right guide to enjoy the winter solstice in Machu Picchu! I’m sure it was a memorable experience together with the lovely Julio Cesar.

Recently came home from a wonderful vacation in Peru, and everything about it was FANTASTIC!!!! The tour was crafted perfectly for our group, and despite some obstacles outside of anyone's control, our guide was quick to course correct and ensure that we still enjoyed every second of our journey. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our tour guide Julio. He is extremely knowledgeable, very patient, and fun to be around. I learned so much about Peru because of how thorough Julio was. Our driver Roberto was just as good, and made sure that we made it to all of our destinations safely, and on time. We spent most of our time in Cusco, but I must say that our time in Lima with Ximena was a blast, and we learned so much about the food and culture. Last but not least, Anne crafted an itinerary that gave us the most rewarding experience in Peru, and we have created memories that will last a lifetime.

Where do I start! Saturday we arrived in Lima and Anne was there to greet us with a smile and information about our week long adventure in Peru. She gave us a great walking tour of Lima, introduced us to La Lucha for lunch, and made sure all our accommodations were set for the evening. The following day, we were off to Cusco, where Julio was there to meet us and begin a very active, informative, and flavorful few nights in Cusco and Aguas Calientes. his knowledge if the Inca culture was fascinating and engaging in conversation. He became instant family to us!
Then we were off to Puerto Maldonado, where Gilbert was there to meet us and take us on our 2 day trip into the Amazon Rainforest. His genial manner and knowledge of his Amazonian backyard and community (Infierno) never ceased to impress us. He taught us how to catch piranha, and we caught 3 that day (took photos with, then released)!
There is simply too much to write about regarding our specific trip. But here are a couple of things that really capture how much Peruvian Soul puts into the people they employ and the time and energy they put into making your trip memorable.
Anne was exceptional for the inception, which was on-line chats in answering my initial questions, to doing follow up calls and video chats are out trip neared. She made us feel very welcome and safe once we arrived. She took care of any logistics that we needed, and her driver Eduardo was punctual, helpful, and professional.
Julio was very caring during our time in Cusco/Aguas Calientes. My mom is 77, and he was very helpful to her and my sister in navigating the changing terrains of Machu Piccu, Ollantaytambo, and the salt terraces in the Sacred Valley. He literally offered his arm to help them balance, and in that, is now a member of our family!
Gilbert never stopped looking for things for us to see in the Amazon Rainforest. On our last day, in the boat ride up the Tambopata River to get us to our flight, a small flock of Macaws flew over the river (our first sighting). He had our captain turn back. We approached where they landed in the trees to take photos. As close as we were, our photos were just "so-so." Gilbert asked for our camera, and in holding it in front of his binoculars, got us amazing photos to take home! I bought a platter made from the Huito tree, and he took the time to point out the tree in the Rainforest. He could have simply sat in the boat and talked to the captain as we exited from the Amazon, but he never stopped working to make our trip the most exceptional it could be.
Gather this from my review: Peruvian Soul will make your trip as memorable as it can be. Their knowledge of their native land is fantastic, and the care they put into hiring exceptional people shines through in how great your guides are and how they take care of you!

Absolutely fantastic experience. Julio Cesar is an amazing guide and we were inspired by his passion for the heart of Peru. My mother, aunt, and I visited sites around Cusco, the sacred valley, and Machu Picchu. Julio Cesar provided excellent historical and cultural background wherever we went and was perfect at assessing our physical abilities and adjusting to the altitude (he also carried my mother's bag whenever she needed help with it). Peruvian Soul was very respectful of the country's covid restrictions and provided us with beautiful masks, alcohol spray, and a canvas drawstring bag. Diego also went above and beyond to make sure we found our bus that was coordinated by the hotel. He called the hotel and us to provide updates on when and where to find it safely. I'm very thankful for choosing Peruvian Soul and highly recommend based on the incredible service and expertise I experienced.

My family and I had a wonderful experience in Lima, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Cusco. Anne worked with me to organize our itinerary and it went off like clockwork. The tour guides were fantastic especially Julio. We experienced so much of the culture and the people were amazing and the food was wonderful. Thanks to Anne, Julio, Eddie and all the other Peruvian Soul associates who made this possible.

We usually plan and book our own travels, but Peru was new for us and we didn't have the time to do all the research. We found Kimkim and let Anne do our planning for us. She was amazing and thought of everything. From corona virus protocols to perfect hotels to having drivers ready for us. She worked within our budget and didn't seem put off at all when we requested changes. She book Julio as our tour guide in Cusco. He was extremely knowledgeable, terrific English, and very patient with my lack of adjusting to the altitude.

We were a little apprehensive to travel to Peru given the COVID situation, so we chose Peruvian Soul from the recommendation of a friend. They answered all our questions and concerns and tailor made our trip to our preferences and budget. Our guide, Guido, was a pleasure and so easy to converse with. He went out of his way to help us, even after we finished our tour and embarked on our own. His restaurant recommendations were amazing and we had some of the best food we have ever tasted. We had great hotels, seamless transfers, and great experiences. Peruvian Soul was transparent about cancellation and other fees if we had to cancel for COVID, but none of it materialized as everything went perfect.

It was such a pleasure working with Nicholas on our trip to Peru. His attention to detail was second to none, and he was always quick to respond to any of my concerns or questions on the itinerary and the COVID-19 requirements during these difficult times. We spent just under two weeks in the country and we were changing locations every two or three nights. All the guides were professional, knowledgeable and attentive. We spent almost five days with Julio, and we felt very fortunate to have him with us. He was kind and caring, I felt as if we were travelling with one of our family members. His knowledge on Cusco and the surrounding areas was impressive. Even though I have done many trips independently, I am very pleased that we used Peruvian Soul for this trip, it certainly would not have been the same without the help from Nicholas and his wonderful team. What an incredible experience, thank you, Peruvian Soul.

Claro que si, Lima tiene mucho que ofrecer!
Si estas por Miraflores, te recomendamos visitar el Museo Amano, un interesante lugar dónde podrás conocer más de la historia de nuestro país a través de los textiles precolombinos. Si estas interesada en arqueología puede ir a La Huaca Pucllana o a la Huaca Huallamarca en San Isidro. Si tienes suerte y te toca un día soleado, no dejes de caminar por el malecón! Si te alcanza el tiempo puedes caminar incluso hasta el distrito de Barranco, un barrio bohemio con galerías de arte muy interesantes.
Si cuentas con más tiempo, puedes ir al Museo Larco en Pueblo Libre, uno de los mejores museos de la ciudad para entender la compleja y rica historia de nuestro país ó visitar el centro histórico de la ciudad.

Hello,
Can I receive more informations/possibilities/prices for a trip of 3 or 4 or 5 days, visit the Machu Picchu + Huayna Picchu + Hot bath/water in aguas calientes + Valley of the Incas.
We are 2 adults and our daughter of 14 years old.
3 or 4 star hôtels is ok. 1 room for our 3.

Hi Beth. Thank you very much for your query. To be honest, we are quiet new in Tripadvisor (this is our first month here) and we didn´t know about the “Q & A” section (we have actually only just seen your message).
Please accept our apologies for our late response, and if you are ever back in Lima or Peru, it will be a pleasure to suggest some of our most popular day tours in our capital. We have some unique experiences such as a private sailing excursion to the Palomino Islands where you can see thousands of sea lions in their natural habitat. We also offer very interesting (and “delicious”) culinary tours as well as some more traditional routes to explore our pre-Columbian colonial past, visit art galleries, markets, etc.
