Booked a VIP seat for a CUSCO-NASCA-LIMA trip. Cruz del SUr canceled the trip 4 or 4 hours before departure time, messing all my further plans. Had to call them more than 10 times to get them to refund my money, terrible customer service. They promised a refund, yet 6 months on and I still haven't received my money. On top of that, they ignore my emails. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, they messed up my plans and stole my money!

We took Cruz Del Sur from Lima to Nasca and 12 hours later took it back to Lima. On our way to Nasca, the service was great, the buses are very comfortable and we enjoyed it. But at Nasca we had a bad service. The bus got delayed for 2 hours and nobody told us. We had to discover it from listening to another conversation. When I heard it. I went to the main desk to ask why but, since i don’t speak Spanish. I used a lot of google translation to make myself understood . The employee at the front desk mimic me using my cell phone and seem to make fun of me in front of his four other colleges, while I was speaking to a woman trying to understand the situation. When I looked at him again noticing what he was doing he stoped doing it and once I was not looking he did it again! I felt laughed at and this is so unprofessional and it hurts my feelings. I give 3 star cause the way there was fine but that wasn’t a good experience in Nasca.

We went to Huaraz from Lima and back which takes about 8 and a half hours. It’s not easy to make the online reservation and I suggest they improve their web to make it easier and quicker. Other than that it’s the perfect way to get to Huaraz (look for my reviews for Llanganuco, Pastoruri and La Aurora hotel) since there are no flights available any more. Seats are extremely comfortable with a 160o inclination, feet supporter, screen on each seat, blanket and pillow and air conditioning. Toilet only works as urinary but you may let the staff know if you need the bus to stop at a proper bathroom. What you’ll need to bring - your own headphones, snacks and beverages. Even though they mention giving you snack and beverages it’s only a piece of bread and small cups of soda or water.

Our tour operator in Sweden had booked 2 journeys with Cruz del Sur, these were: - Arequipa - Nasca $120, 8 hrs - Paracas - Lima $70, 4 hrs Travelling with these buses is a bit like flying in the sense that you “check in” your luggage, have pre-booked seats, hostesses, soft drink and cheap meals served at your chair Ona foldable tray. You have big reclining, comfortable chairs and a small screen for entertainment. Unfortunately, we didn’t get them to work. The first journey went well, but the second was very delayed. Also, getting back the luggage was a bit chaotic, as the staff seemed to have difficulties comparing the luggage receipts with the ticket on the luggage itself.

Cheap, very puntual and reliable. Seats we have chosen were the cheapest and they were very comfortable and they reclined enough to allow you a good sleep. There are also screens to watch TV or movie ! And for long distances they serve dinner or breakfast! Air conditioning at times too cold! But they give you pillow and warm blankets! Only flaw? Most of them miss the plug to charge the phone!
