Had a wonderful pervuian food experience with John Paul. We went to the local market and hot a wonderful history on where and how this food was raised. Went back with purchases and had fresh cevichia and a super rice and sea bass recipe. Best experience in Peru would recommend to all.

We had a fantastic time getting to know the food and culture of Lima with Gonzalo! He is incredibly knowledgeable and a great teacher. We walked through the food market, then went to his home to learn how to cook ceviche, lomo saltado, causa, and pisco sour. After a few hours of exploring, cooking, and (most importantly) eating, we left very happy and satisfied with full stomachs. The food is amazing and the experience is like no other. A really cool way to get an intimate look at Peruvian cuisine from a Peruvian chef himself. I would 100% recommend!

Gonzalo - what a wonderful and talented chef! We had the opportunity to come to his home and learn about three amazing peruvian dishes (and not to forget - pisco sour). Not did we only learn about the cousine, we also had a blast doing so! We recommend this to everyone interested in cooking!!

We visited Chef Gonzalo in his home to learn how to prepare some traditional Peruvian dishes. He is a fabulous Chef, a very engaging personality and made all of the dishes come to life. One of the best ways to experience a new city and culture. Would highly recommend!!!

Most foodies know that Lima is a worldwide gastronomic destination, but take an afternoon with Gonzalo and learn how to prepare Peruvian delicacies! After accompanying our group of four on a tour of a colourful local food market where we saw a dizzying array of exotic fruits, vegetables, fish and meat, we walked to Gonzalo's apartment where we met his charming teenage daughter and first learned how to make Pisco Sours. Then, in turn, we helped prepare and then ate tilapia ceviche, causa, and lomo saltado, all Peruvian specialties. If you love food and are fascinated by what goes into it, DO NOT MISS this opportunity to spend an afternoon cooking with Gonzalo Carbajal during your visit to Lima.
