We met Aaron in Cusco at our Hostel. He over heard us planning our trip to Machu Picchu and he helped us plan our trip even thou he was leaving for the airport to fly back to Lima. Aaron has been in constant contact with us and helping us with every adventure. If you are looking for a tour guide in Peru, Aaron is your guide! I cannot say thank you enough for all of his help and when we get back to Lima in a few days, drinks are on me Aaron! 😊🍻

My husband and I just returned from an unforgettable trip to Peru organized by Aaron Paiva Leyton of tourguideperu. Not only did Aaron Paiva Leyton set up a perfect itinerary for us in Peru but he also sent us back to the States with a bottle of HIS Pisco (first sampled 5 years ago after his Lima day tour and meal prepared by his mother). If anyone is considering Peru (there's a LOT to see besides just Machu Picchu), we would highly recommend Aaron. Without his meticulously detailed organization such a truly unforgettable and safe adventure wouldn’t have been possible at such a reasonable cost. Every one of Aaron’s reliable, knowledgeable guides and drivers, handpicked for their local expertise, were extremely friendly and engaging. We also liked his idea of ending the 10 days with Machu Picchu rather than beginning our adventure with it. He included places we requested and added some that he believed we’d enjoy. After especially energetic days, he built in time to recuperate. He booked everything (internal flights, hotels, trains, boats, restaurants etc). We enjoyed Lima, Sillustani and Lake Umayo, Lake Titicaca with the floating Uros Islands and Taquile Island, Puna, Cusco in the Sacred Valley, Andahuayllilas, Raqchi, La Raya, Sacsayhuaman, Awana Kancha, Pisac ruins, Ollantaytambo, Temple of the Sun, Machu Picchu Pueblo, and the truly awesome Machu Picchu. AND we encountered many llamas and alpacas. Needless to say, we have absolutely fabulous memories. P. S. Notice his logo includes his 2 cats.

We’re big foodies who love to learn about the local cuisine of places we travel. We signed up for Aaron’s “Culinary Experience” with TourGuidePeru and learned we were in for a huge treat! Aaron started off the morning with a tour of the local grocery store showing us all of the local produce that we’d use later in our meal. He then took us into his home where he showed us how to make a delicious Pisco sour. All of the cooking was done by Aaron’s own sweet mom in her kitchen. She showed us all the steps to make the Huancaina sauce that goes over boiled potatoes. She proceeded to make the most scrumptious Peruvian ceviche. And topped off the meal with the traditional Lomo Saltado. We sat in their dining room for a phenomenal home cooked Peruvian meal which we now know how to make on our own!! This afternoon was one of the highlights of our trip to Peru! If you enjoy cooking or even just eating, we highly recommend signing up for the Culinary Experience!!

I visited Peru with several friends for the 4 day Machu Picchu hike. Aaron was our guide through Lima, the Sacred Valley and Cuzco. He arranged transportation to/ from the airports to our hotels, our trail guide for our hike, transportation for all of our excursions and he helped us maneuver through the airports. An exceptional guide, he provided historical facts about the local architecture and culture as well as current events. One of my favorite memories is of our visit to his mother's home where she shared her secrets as she made Ceviche and other local dishes. Thank you Aaron for sharing your home and making my first international trip an amazing journey!! Laura G

We booked some transportation, the Lima Tour with the Culinary Experience, and the Peruvian Paso Horse Exhibition with a stop at Pachacamac. The Lima tour was great and Aaron made sure to provide a tour that accommodated our interests in architecture and art with a snack at a local cafe that was outstanding. The late lunch/early dinner at his mom's was fantastic! Aaron taught us how to make Pisco Sours and his mom's Ceviche and beef stir fry were amazing...the best in Peru...one of our favorite memories of our time in Lima. The Pachacamac archaeological site was interesting, but the Paso Horse show exceeded all expectations! We highly recommend Aaron and TourGuidePeru!
