"El Parque del Amor" was inaugurated in 1993 and celebrates "love" in all its forms. At its center, an iconic sculpture - "El Beso" ("The Kiss", in English) - by acclaimed Peruvian artist Victor Delfín, depicts lovers embracing in an endless kiss. Around the sculpture, tiled benches inspired in Antoni Gaudí's "Parc Güell", in Barcelona. Come by sunset and enjoy, from the cliffs of Miraflores, awesome views of Lima and its Pacific Ocean. Enjoy!

A large romantic statue of a couple embracing, entitled “el beso”, “the kiss”can be found in this park which is located alongside the Lima beachfront. The park has Gorgeous views of the ocean, a perfect area to take a walk, go for a run in the malecón, walk your dog. You can find snack bars along the way, etc.

A popular place to walk with great views of the Pacific Ocean. There is a ‘lovers’ sculpture and mosaic walls, which make it attractive, together with a café. Worth 30 minutes or so with some good photo opportunities.

Racy statue and racier couples! No telling what level of amor the couples will be engaged. Clothes completely on, or so I believe, I really did not want to stare. Otherwise a beautiful oak on the bluffs of Miraflores.

With its coastal views, flowerbeds, colourful mosaics, and a giant embracing couple, it's certainly the most romantic place on earth for dating. The park's central sculpture, El Beso (The Kiss), created by Peruvian artist Victor Delfin, "El Beso" shows a man and a woman wrapped in each other's arms, locked in a passionate Kiss. The park is said to be inspired by Parc Guell in Barcelona, designed by Antoni Gaudi. Lines from various Peruvian poets were found within the mosaics in the park. There were alot of people doing exercises, having picnics with families and dating in the park. The park is not far from Larcomar shopping centre. Highly recommend this Park for those visiting Lima.

Parque del Amor has beautiful views to the Pacific Ocean. You can come here for a pleasant stroll along the Miraflores Boardwalk or just to relax and enjoy watching the sea. There were many joggers and others working out here as well. Parque del Amor sits atop a cliff with expensive Miraflores apartments overlooking,

We stopped here for about 30 min after a day tour of Lima. It is a beautiful park situated right on the coast in Miraflores. There are great views of the Pacific and the statue of the lovers is beautiful. IF it is convenient - stop!!!!
PARKING is difficult.

Throughout Malecón in Miraflores you will see a lot of beautiful parks with different beautiful scenarios and attractions. This one is more crowded and that's because people stay there longer taking pictures not only of the famous sculpture, but also of the romantic phrases on benches, walls, everywhere. It is definitely a park you will want to drop off on your tour through the city!

Love Park was an unexpected surprise since it is located on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific ocean and is devoted entirely to romance. It's surrounded by walls of romantic quotes scripted in mosaic tiles and a monumental statue of two lovers embracing each other in the center of the park. The poet Antonio Cilloniz had lamented that "In the cities, they do not build monuments to lovers", a reaction, to all the monuments in South America (and everywhere else) devoted to those who had distinguished themselves in battle by either winning or dying.

The Miraflores neighborhood decided to be the exception and opened the Parque del Amor in 1993 on Valentines day. The major sculpture in the park is of "El Beso", a couple engaged in a passionate kiss. It was sculpted by Victor Delfin who celebrates the lovers who gather to catch the sunset on the waters of the Pacific Ocean. It is said that the locals compete for the longest kiss under this statue. Walking here at most times of the day and night you can see couples kissing or snuggled close together. You may also want to go about 5,000 feet south on the street; Del Ejército Perez Aranibar, to see the Maria Reiche Garden.
