Our PERU, is a country of millenary tradition on the waves, from the pre-Inca cultures, the ancient Peruvians demonstrate how they had fun with the waves. Learn to surf at Pukana

Wow, que bueno. Pukana Surf is a great spot to learn how to surf in Lima. I had my first lessons here from Gustavo and it was very easy to understand. Walking to the beach from Parque Kennedy is only 15 minutes and the surfing is great. Highly reccomended. Awesome staff

Perfect for beginners

I stayed at Lima last week and i always wanted to practice Surf, i call them and they gave me all the information that i need, so i booked a class.
The price for one hour and a half was quite cheap and they give you all the equipment. The instructor was very patient while i start to do it better.

I'm so glad I finally took surf classes! I chose them due to their great reviews, they are so friendly and helpful! They even picked me up this morning and I was able to catch my own wave!

First surf lesson

Our children (19, 14 and 11) went surfing at Makaha beach with Pukana surf school. They had 2 teachers for the three of them, whi were really good. They had great fun!

Fantastic!

A really great morning in Miraflores. As a novice surfer the lesson was just perfect for me, Enrique was able to give me some more tips to help me improve but didn´t waste too much time on the basics, and as I was only out with one other person he had plenty of time to give us both instruction. The price was very resonable for a lesson and the equipment hire, they also collected me from my hotel and returned me again which was included in the price. Excellent experience all round and the waves are amazing! Just watch out for the stoney beach - its a killer on the toes!

Great for beginners
We have just had our 1.5hour lesson and our beginner was up and running ;)

Great school, with good equipment and the benefit of getting picked up from your hotel and Oscar is a great instructor

Buena experiencia
I was living in Lima at the time, and took surf lessons with Pakuna Surf while I was there. My friends and I had an awesome time! The instructors were great, and the price was more than reasonable. I felt totally safe in the water. It was an experience I will never forget!

Great!
Had an amazing time. Teacher took great effort to guide us as good as possible. Can recommend this place to anyone that likes to start surfing. Lessons in English, decent equipment.

Nice surfing school, good value for money

Having been at Pukana two times now, I can only say that it is a really nice place to surf. The waves are challenging but manageable for beginners. The surfing teachers are all really nice and support you all the time during your first trips. If you compare the price of the classes to European or Australian surf camps, you are really making a good deal here (25€ for a swimsuit, board, instructions and help in the water). All in all, a really nice experience.

Trip Highlight

The highlight of my trip, 2nd only to Machu Picchu. I arranged the lesson over the phone & Javier picked me up in Surco. My lesson was with Oscar. This was my first time surfing and I absolutely loved it! A surreal experience at a more than reasonable price!
