    The Place to Be
You never know the sights you’ll find, the people you’ll watch, or the experiences you’ll remember here. The bulk of Lima’s social and Vitamin D scene is arguably centered around Kennedy and 7 de Junio. The clean, safe grounds will quickly invite you in and make you crave for your return.

    Cats
Basically two seperate parks in the centre of Miraflores surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars. Artists sell their goods here while the parks cats are the real stars of the show. If you are peckish treat yourself to some famous picarones, freshly made donuts. The grounds are well maintained and security patrols keep a watchful eye over the park.

Lots of cats in this quirky park…
This is a quirky little park in Lima, an easy walk from the hotels in Miraflores. The main feature of the park: CATS! Lots of them. They appear to be cared for by the locals, despite living outside. They’re friendly and pretty funny to watch. The park was in great condition, a nice little patch of green in the busy city. City workers were busy cleaning and planting and the like during our visit, a sign of the pride that Lima takes in its public areas. Probably not a must-do for your visit (unless you’re really into cats), but it was a fun little diversion in our day.

    That was the Cat's Meow!?
Parque Kennedy itself isn't particularly thrilling. It's a tree-lined city square without major attractions. But then you spot the cats. Lots of friendly, lazy, relaxed cats. And believe it or not, they are wild cats that authorities provide food and water for, creating a safe haven for them. A nice thought. If you or your kids enjoy cats that purr when you pet them on the belly and behind the ear, Parque Kennedy is worth a quick visit. Lima's elegant, quiet cathedral is right next door and also deserves a little visit. Rarely have I seen more genuinely praying people than here. Whether they're praying for themselves or the cats, we don't know.

    The cats pajamas!
Such a cute little park in the Miraflores area, clean and serene and of course... the kitties! They were all so friendly and playful, and obviously well cared for (lots of food, water, shelters and beds available). If you are a cat lover, this place is a must visit!

I love to sit and people watch - I was in heaven here. It's a beautifully manicured park with lots of friendly and active cats to watch, if and when you get tired of watching people. There is a beautiful church you can enter and admire the craftsmanship and beauty. There are lots of little shops of artisan goods and then regular stores on the street. I could have spent all day there!

Walked through the park and immediately saw kitty’s walking around it was a nice interaction. You could sit, walk people watch and they had crews there cleaning at night also. Something different and simple to see.

Kennedy Park and June 7th Park are the neighborhood oasis in Miraflores. Craft fair, food vendors, flower gardens and lots of stray cats. Bordered by Miraflores City Hall and Iglesia Virgen Milagrosa. Worth a visit.

I was killing time walking around when I came across this park. Apparently you can adopt cats from here. There were dozens of cats hanging around. And a beautiful church right next to the park.

Looks like a pleasant park in central Miraflores, but could not be visited due to measures to contain corona. You could walk around though. Especially the flower beds looked nice!

At night I observed locals entering the park to feed the stray cats.

Wonder why the park is named after US president Kennedy known for his interventionist policies in Latin America and associated with the botched invasion at the Bay of Pigs (Cuba) in 1961.

I went to the Park on two occasions and was very disappointed.
The first was on a Saturday. It was crowded and seemed to be a big flea market. A number of stalls were selling books.
The second time was a Thursday and the park was closed. There were policemen at the entrances, so you couldn't get in.
A worthless 25 minute walk from my hotel.

Cute cats, pretty flowers, tasty sandwiches, and a very beautiful church.
I was feeling pretty down the other day but sitting in the gardens with the cats, listening to people singing in the church, was so peaceful it helped turn my day around.
100% would recommend for sad days. And to make happy days happier :)
