Our Lima tours aim to promote Peru’s fabulous food while giving guests the behind-the-scenes city tour of the capital's most interesting districts. These gourmet culinary tours in Lima were designed so that visitors explore the local cuisine, culture and traditions while being treated like royalty in the City of Kings. All in one day, we take visitors to a local market, secret garden cafes, and Lima’s landmark restaurants where they will prepare Peru's flagship dish and drink - Cebiche and the Pisco Sour - as they wind through the city's most emblematic districts. Private tours also available upon request.

As a solo traveler this was not only a safe way to enjoy a tour of Lima and eat local foods, it was a great way to meet kindred travelers. I met fun and interesting people from four different continents! The tour bus picked me up at the front of the hotel, at the time the stated, in a very... More

Fun, educational tour of Peruvian cuisine. Small group allowed us to engage with other attendees. Our guide Sylvia shared culture, recent history and an introduction to the Barranco neighborhood She is passionate about food and her country. Highly recommend this tour which gave us a chance to taste Peruvian coffee, fruit and local dishes. Make sure you come hungry!

Had a wonderful time with Sylvia, our guide. A well curated tour around the city: sampled amazing and unusual tropical fruit, drank good coffee, had fun making pisco sours and built our own ceviche. The group was great as well, but that was at least in part because Sylvia kept the conversation going. She was also knowledgeable about the local... More

For us, one of the major pleasures of travelling is trying the food. With limited time in Lima and a language barrier, this tour ticked all the boxes. We did the evening tour. The pick up was on time. We went to 4 different restaurants. First stop lovely Pisco sours on a terrace overlooking the sea. Then on to an... More

We chose private tour as it allowed 930am pick up rather than 9am, we arrived late the night before so allowed us to sleep a bit later and price not unreasonably higher than group. In spite of being picked up later, we actually stayed ahead of what turned out to be two group tours, believe our single pick up, while... More

We had an exceptional day traversing the city in a comfortable van, visiting restaurants in the Baranco, a fresh food market in San Ysidro, learning to make delicious Ceviche and Pisco sours in a private cooking class. We ended our day at a great local restaurant overlooking the Inca ruins, where our guide, Jaime, helped us select wonderful local Peruvian... More

What an amazing day with Sylvia. From fantastic, artistic coffee, fruit that defies description, to making our own pisco sours and ceviches, as well as eating a fabulous meal amidst the ruins - we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Sylvia for such a fun, delicious day. Your enthusiasm is another bonus. Spend the money and take this tour.... More

Hosted by Jaimie, we enjoyed a half day food tour around Lima. Starting with coffee, then to smoothies, a market, making our own ceviche and pisco sours to lunch at Huaca Pucllana the day was perfect capped by a lunch with lots of small items - 4 appertisers, a chicken curry and 4 desserts. There was also some sightseeing on... More
