Very much enjoyed the show, but we rushed through very heavy, crazy Lima traffic to arrive before the published start time of 9:00PM, only to discover that the show actually started at 10:00. It was very late for a 3- hour show, but the wait and late start time were well worth it. The show was beautiful, the costumes gorgeous, and the MC was energetic and entertaining. The meal was nothing special, but at 11:00PM. I wasn’t that hungry anyway.

Great place to hang out with friends and family to appreciate peruvian dances. You can also dance and participate in some parts of the show. Make sure to order the Lomo Saltado and Pisco sour de Maracuya.

The Peña is one of the best in town , has an excellent live orchestra and has a link with the well known folkloric group which toured Asia and Europe. Surprisingly for such a place, the food was quite goood as was the obligatory pisco.

A wonderful dinner and show with an excellent host who was very energetic and knew all of the various dances. The show included audience participation and had guests in the audience from all over the world. The food and drinks were superb and the atmosphere was electric. The show included selected guests from the audience from various countries performing their homeland’s folkloric dance!

We really enjoyed our night out at La Candelaria! You may want to arrive earlier if you'd like to eat hear, but the dancing doesn't really get started until 10pm and goes on until around 2 in the morning. The dancing and music are great and the host was funny and entertaining. Great drinks including cocktails. Not the cheapest but well worth it for a memorable evening. Audience participation is very much encouraged - we were glad we'd had a few drinks!
