This full day tour was definitely the highlight of my trip as I travelled throughout Peru! I was fortunate to have Jhonny Lucas as my tour guide, who was extremely knowledgeable, very experienced and fluent in English. As soon as I was picked up from my hotel, the day started with the City of Kings and Queens Tour. Johnny Lucas... More

There were six of us in our group and Jimmy and his driver picked us up in a very comfortable van. First to the fish market on the waters edge, then sampling a range of freshly cooked delicious seafood. Jimmy was so warm and friendly with everyone he passed there and all trout the tour. He gave us so much... More

Tour picked us up from our hotel, usually only 4 people, but we had 6, their maximum. We visited 3 different local areas around Lima, tasted all the local delights from the freshest seafood, fruits, chicken, rice & potatoes, finished up with a locally brewed beer (or juice or coffee). Our guide was fabulous, very knowledgeable, friendly and a great... More

Truthfully I had no expectations for Lima but the ship stopped there overnight and on the suggestions of some CruiseCritic members I booked this tour for us and it was the highlight of our So. American cruise. We lucked out and got Edwin for our guide for both days, I think our whole group would have staged a sit-in if... More

We participated in the Shanty Town tour with Nathaly and had an amazing experience. However, do try to book ahead of time. We tried to book the tour two days in advance but were told via email that they had no spots left. We then called Haku and were told that they could make an exception and open two spots... More

We always try to do an historical tour of a new city when we arrive, and Haku's City of Kings and Queens tour was absolutely perfect. Our guide Nathaly was incredibly knowledgeable and proud of her city, nation and culture. Very fluent in English and extremely personable. We were picked up in a beautiful new van, but did most of... Who knew cooking class could be so much fun. We (my husband and I) were picked up from our hotel at 2pm by Lukas who speaks English very well and loves Jefferson Airplane. We drove to a market where our chef, David, was waiting for us . We went from stall to stall, picking up supplies and meeting the lady... More

We stopped off a cruise ship and had booked the tour in advance. We immediately fell in love with Lima. We met the guide just outside the port, on time and ready to go. Our guide was Nathaly and she is absolutely divine. Her knowledge of the places we toured was extensive and we couldn't stump her on any other... More

The market tour and cooking experience was all around fun for all ages. The chief and the guide gave us plenty of gourmet Peruvian dishes to choose on how to make. Afterwards, we were able to eat our creations. For future advice, this cooking tour will fill you up, so attend this tour with an empty stomach!

We spent a morning for a most amazing and also very touching visit to Villa El Salvador shanty town with Edwin from Haku Tours. Of many things seen and experienced in Peru, this is one of the most real-life and genuine tour experiences for visitors to Lima. Through his network and contacts our guide Edwin has been able to set... More
