Dear client: Absolutely yes! Going inside the port it´s not allowed because of past problems, so there are shuttles from the ship dock to the gates of the port where we can pick you up and start our tours! :D

Any good? Has anyone done the "Ballestas Islands + Dune buggy & Sandboarding around "Huacachina" Oasis" tour with them? Any good? I am trying to do Huacachina in a day trip, so am open to suggestions for other tour operators too. Thanks!

Dear everyone, I finally got lucky and booked the air tickets. Its a "done " deal re. going to Peru. Day 1 May 13 Saturday Depart NYC 2320 arrive in lima. 0600- Depart Lima 0810 Question. enough time for connection? Also enough time to get cash from ATM and get a sim card? Hi bigwawao, I think your 2 hr connection time is very tight. Even if your NYC flight arrives on time, you need to go through Immigration, pick up luggage, scan luggage at Customs, exit Arrivals area, take luggage to check-in counter in main lobby (there is always a long line) and go upstairs to the Departures area. I don't mean to scare you unnecessarily but the last time we flew in, our luggage didn't make the flight but no one told us. We waited for almost 1 hr and finally submitted a...More

Haku Tours bike tour vs. Bike Tours of Lima (7 Replies)
On our travels back from Cuzco, we have a layover in Lima from 1pm until 10:45pm. My husband and I have done bike tours in other countries and have loved them. My question is which one of these tour companies to go with. There isn't one review of Haku Tours BIKE tours that I can find on the internet. Most reviews are of their "Shanty tour" which I am not interested in. The upside to this company is that they provide a guaranteed pick up taxi from their company at airport at 1pm and their...More

We did a Bay Tour with Bike Tours of Lima last month and had a great experience. As you noted, this is what they do, and it was definitely rock solid and a lot of fun. I'm not sure which tour you are considering, but we enjoyed seeing various sights around the bay, including a couple overlooks and the Bridge of Sighs in Barranco. No real help on transportation, but I would think a taxi to Miraflores would be easy enough to do in the 2 hours you have before the tour starts. On the way back,...More
