Overview
Exploring Lima, one of South America’s biggest and busiest cities, independently can be a challenge. Step aboard an open-top bus so you can easily see the Peruvian capital’s top sights such as Cathedral Basilica of St. John and the Plaza de Armas, learning about Lima's rich history along the way with your included audio guide. Choose from three daytime tours—the historic tour, Barranco and Miraflores, and the city tour—or the Night and Fountains tour, which includes entry to the Magical Circuit of Water.

The bus never showed up at Larcomar, even though I was there 25 minutes beforehand, and they never even have the courtesy of letting anyone know it was cancelled. I definitely advise against this hideous and rude company, they ruined my last day in Lima.

This is quantified as a hop on/hop off your and states you can begin and end at any site listed. However, when I called the office half an hour past the scheduled pickup time I was told I had to be at a specific location. That was not made clear, my time was wasted and the company has yet to respond to my request for a refund. Go with Hauka tours instead, they pick you up and offer the same sites.

I stayed in Lima for 2 days after a business trip and chose this, as have used City Sightseeing in other places previously and found them to be good quality. I did both the night and day tours on separate days and enjoyed them both, the commentary was in English and Spanish ad pointed out the key sights on both, although one of the guides was more a bit informative than the other. Both tours gave an opportunity to get off and explore for an hour or so in different parts of the city. I did read that some guests found it hard to find the pick up point near the Larcomar shopping centre, so I gave myself plenty of time but found it quite easily near the taxi rank.

The itinerary was good, the timing was fine, the bus was fine... BUT.... the supposedly English speaking guide really was not really bilingual... she spoke English somewhat then kept throwing in Spanish when she didn't know the English word and ran the English translation right into the Spanish version. I don't think I understood 20% of what she said. I would NOT book this tour if you do not understand Spanish...

During the day it's not as good. Now at night it's beautiful. The bus has this neon color, see below there is also the magical water fountains that light up at night. So for the same price you get twice as much. BE SMART
