Erik gifted us with a late afternoon run through the historic center of Lima. I say "gifted" because it was a wonderful combination of running and stops to see, learn and explore the churches, colonial architecture and vibrant life of this beautiful area. Erik is a runner, historian, photographer and all around incredible person all wrapped in one. He gifted... More

Thank you so much for your kind reviews and Support to my work. In LRT we try hard to make a unique run in every tour. We make it fun and different sharing our love for running, culture and history. Erick More

Loved the tour and discovering the historical centre in such an unique way! Erick takes you to places no tourist guide ever would! And we did the tour/run on a Sunday which meant we got to see all the churches 'alive' with people and different Sunday masses - which definitely was an added bonus! Thank you again Erick!

Thank you so much for your your words and kind review. It was also a pleasure for me sharing a Sunday morning run in Colonial Lima. We could feel the religious devoted people in Lima and their churches and picture some other colonial and republican buildings of different ages. No matter how many times I run through these streets there´s... More

I can't say enough good things about my experience. My guide, Erick, was so amazingly nice and gave a great tour. He showed me things that I would never have seen on my own, and he told the history and gave lots of very interesting facts. It was the best thing I did in Lima. Erick was great to communicate... Running with Erick was the highlight of our time in Lima. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Not only is he proud and knowledgeable of the sights of Lima, but he is an excellent coach and athlete. His English is excellent. My eight year old son and I did the Miraflores Cliffs tour, but I am sure that all... More

This was a really fun way to see Miraflores and the Cliff Walk. Erick is a fun, personable running guide and it was a pleasure to run around the city with him. He does take a lot of pictures, so get ready for that. :-) The run isn't too difficult - he'll go at whatever pace makes sense for you.

First of all...this is a genius idea...I wish there were more of these in the various cities I travel to.My favorite way to see a new city is to get a run in but in a place like Lima, having a running guide/group is ideal (the driving is crazy, not an easy please to maneuver as a foreigner and there are... I had never heard of a Running Tour before I traveled to Lima, but I saw this on TripAdvisor and had to try it! If you run, this is a great introduction to the city of Lima because you go to many different areas that you wouldn't normally visit. I ran the 10k tour of San Isidro with Erick and... More

This is a fantastic tour and a must-do for those who enjoy running in Lima! And in fact, you don't need to be a great runner to do it! Erick is really great about going a speed that is comfortable for you. He takes you into virtually every open nook and cranny that you run by while on the tour.... More

I was recently in Lima for work and really wanted to get in a morning run with a guide who knows the city and where they are going, so I found Lima Running Tours. It was very easy to make arrangements over e-mail. Jorge met me at my hotel and off we went for an hour of tourist running --... More

Erick was a great tour guide to show me around Lima after I arrived. I got an idea of the Miraflores area and learned a lot about the area.
