Nicky and Juan Carlos were working the day we stopped at the Tourist Information Center. We don't speak Spanish and had printed out an email about a reservation we thought we had made at a famous restaurant in Lima. However, the printout didn't seem to be the place we wanted. We had made this reservation online before our trip. These 2 young men spent over 20 minutes on the phone, found that the restaurant had moved and secured a reservation for us that night. We had a fabulous meal at KJOLLE thanks to Nicky an Juan Carlos!

I did the walking tour through the city centre.
Lucera was an amazing guide, wealth of knowledge, and a great sense of humour, its nice having a laugh when on tour.
I also met other travellers which is always a bonus
Muchas gracias chicos! Nos vemos en el futuro

Arrived in Lima with little clue as to where I was going and what to do. Axel and Jesus helped me get acclimated to my environment and even helped me find the best place to stay for my needs! From start to finish these guys went out of their way to help with no sales pitch or agenda. They were there truly just to help me have the best experience. So grateful. Definitely stop by; they are bound to help you with something you didn’t know:)

The information center offers SIM cards for the phone, but you can't buy them. You have to go to the Claro phone store, a mile away with very limited hours. Offers bus tour tickets but can't deliver them. Just like the Sim cards.
However, you can buy bus tickets for the airport bus. Very efficient and economical. In addition, on time.

During our stay there occurred some misunderstandings with a booking. Got some helpful tips at first, that unfortunately didn’t work out. When we came back for more help the manager ended up calling us liars and had no interest of helping us.

Besides this rude behavior they had some helpful tips according to trips and tours.

My friends and I joined a free walking tour to Barranco with Gabriel. He is from Barranco himself and had so much knowledge about the area! The whole tour from beginning to end was excellent, we learnt so much within short amount of time and got a lot of insider information on where to eat, listen to live music, etc. After the tour, we went to a restaurant with Gabriel and had the best ceviche! He is a great guide - highly recommended. He also organizes food tours in Lima - you can look him up online (Gabriel Braun)!

We had a bit of a scare when we realized that our online check in for the next mornings flight required us to print our boarding passes. Without access to a printer, we went to the Tourist Information Centre and David was so kind to help guide us through the online site (which didn't have a great English translation) and printed out our boarding passes all free of charge!

Saved us a lot of time and anxiety 👍
