Using QuickLama Airport Shuttle to get from my hostel to the airport was a very good choice. It is a personalised, cheap and very effective way of getting to the airport. Communication was excellent, and I was given fair warning 10min before pick-up. I was picked up right in front of my hostel by a friendly and helpful driver, and efficiently and safely driven to within 100m of the international departure. I can highly recommend this service.

Would happily use them again and recommend them to everyone.
As a solo female traveller and arriving late at the airport I booked Quickllama instead of using a taxi or the airport shuttle and I'm so glad I did. Excellent service and very very simple to use. Thanks QuickLlama

I always use the Quickllama service. I think it’s a safe and cheap option to get from the airport to Miraflores and viceversa. Moreover, with an additional small fee, they leave at my house door and they also pick me up from there. They are always on time and they are very safety. It’s a highly recommended service.

Went exactly as expected. I had to change the time of my pick up and had no issues doing so. Got email confirmation of new time. The pickup location is fairly easy to find, despite absolutely no signage inside or outside the airport. Actually nothing indicating they are there except for the purple van in the lot behind the hotel, so make sure you carefully read the instructions on your booking. Driver(s) were not par particularly professional - seemed to be a guy and his girlfriend or something. But, they offered the free WiFi code and got me to my destination ahead of schedule. Would use again.

I had to go to the airport very early (about 5 am), so I wasn't able to take Airport Express because they don't operate that time. I tried QuickLama shuttle and it was great, they picked me about from AirBnb accommodation and arrived at the airport on time. You can book it via WhatsApp

On time, comfortable, driver very friendly.
Very convenience, for an extra fee they pick you up where you are staying. Best service found so you can avoid your friends or relatives to go through the hustle of the traffic going to the airport. I will use this service again.

Booking was super easy and flexible. I booked via WhatsApp and when I needed to make last minute changes, I was assisted quickly. Did the door to door services from and to airport. Punctual and safe driving. Paying with credit card without any hassles.

I've ridden with Quickllama multiple times now. Good wifi, the drivers are considerate, and it's easy to find. Door-to-door is great if you aren't familiar iwth the area or have lots of things otherwise the parking lot option is great too. You can arrive early and wait in the van instead of waiting awkwardly out of the street with your things like you have to do for the blue bus service. Plus, it's cheaper!

I came to Lima to visit a friend for a few days. She asked her colleagues at her workplace about different airport shuttles, and QuickLlama was the one company they heard of and recommended.

I have a lot of travel experience in general as well as within Latin America, but still was really worried about transport to and from the airport in Lima. I was traveling alone, and my flight arrived and left very late at night.

If you're in the same situation as I was, trying to decide what to do, I recommend QuickLlama!

I took QuickLlama from Miraflores in Lima to the airport, in hindsight I would have taken them from the airport too. If you are not staying in Miraflores, I recommend taking QuickLlama from the airport to Pariwana hostel in Miraflores, then asking the Pariwana hostel (it is a well-known and safe hostel, located close to Parque Kennedy) to call you a safe taxi to take you to your ultimate destination.

Pros:
*QuickLlama shuttles are labeled clearly with their brand/company name. It feels official this way and thus safe. I took another shuttle company from the airport to Lima called Peruvian Shuttle because they meet you inside the airport - it was good and safe and they will walk you from the car to your doorstep at your destination (which can be in neighborhoods besides just Miraflores). However, in this instance the car used by Peruvian Shuttle was just a (nice) plain black car, not labelled with any logo that made it feel official, so I was a bit worried at first. It is also more expensive than QuickLlama.

*Quickllama door to door shuttles are very inexpensive (in my case it was just 15 soles, and I only shared the shuttle with one other person).

*When you confirm your reservation, they send you a text/Whatsapp with a map and photo showing very clearly where the meeting point is nearby the address you provided them (at least for travel from Miraflores --> Airport, "Door-to-Door")

*The driver had my Whatsapp and texted me when he arrived to the meeting point. I imagine if you cannot find the meeting point for some reason they can help you (especially if you speak Spanish).

Cons:
*Meeting location at Lima airport is unclear - "aeropuerto bus parking"
The one factor that prevented me from taking QuickLlama from Lima airport to Lima was the fact that the website notes you have to meet them at "aeropuerto bus parking" without specification of where this is. I searched for maps of Lima airport and couldn't find any labelling where this was. I didn't want to wander around outside the airport late at night, so I chose another shuttle service.

This situation could be fixed quickly if QuickLlama puts a note/map on their website with very clear indication of where they pick up at the airport. If it is the same location as drop off, it is within the guarded airport parking that is still inside the airport area and thus safe (outside the airport, i.e. outside the large gates around the parking area, is well-known as not safe.) It would also be a great idea if they have the option to meet you inside the airport for a small extra charge.

*Door-to-Door shuttle is limited to Miraflores
Quickllama's door-to-door shuttle only goes to locations in Miraflores. It would be great if they expanded to other safe neighborhoods like Barranco, Lince, etc.

Again, if you are in the situation of trying to find safe transport to/from airport in Lima as a solo traveller, I recommend QuickLlama regardless --> take it to the Pariwana hostel, and then have the hostel call you a secure taxi to your ultimate destination.

We used QuickLlama twice, one booking through whatsapp one on the web, both worked well. The pickup from the hostel in the morning was very punctual, the wifi in the bus is stable and the price is very affordable! A tip for when taking the shuttle from the airport: we could not see it at first because it was standing behind a large bus from another airport shuttle company, so make sure to look everywhere on the parking lot which is the pickup location.
