Great Night!

Great place to go with some friends! You will enjoy great local music and great interaction for tourists! Not very expansive! The atmosphere reminds me of Andrés in Bogotá.

UGH, this was the highlight of my trip ya'll!!! Let me tell you, this isn't only for locals. If you like good tapas style food, even better dinner shows, and dancing... Well this is the perfect event! The show caters to getting the audience involved, so don't be shy! My family and I went on a Friday night, and I... More

This place is great for dancing and entertaining. Many out of town folks. Opens very late. I had a fantastic time, but made the huge mistake of ordering appetizers. Got really sick. Also dont order their ice...its made from tap water. Other than that, its a great place to enjoy.

During our last night in Lima we visited some pubs and clubs, but the best was Peña del Carajo. They offer everything you are looking for in a Latin American country: good music, food, drinks and of course, the best show. The band plays very good, and the host is very funny. We had a great time and got a... More

I was taken by a local friend to a "Carajo" located in Barranco, in one of the backstreets. All tourists who visit Lima must visit this place. Here you will see some great local acts, who sing Criolla music which is the Afro Peruano Music of Peru. Great powerfulk voices, dancing, drinking, in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

I went with my daughter-in-law and two other women and thought we were going to see a dance show. Not aimed at my age group but I had a really good night out. It starts late and it helps to book a table. We arrived at 11.30pm and nothing really happened until after midnight. First a group of Afro Peruvian... More
