I just got back from 4 days and three night on the Amazonas. We were treated like Kings, fed incredible meals, taken to places to meet people and see things I would have never dreamed I'd get the opportunity to experience. All while feeling like I was and explorer and learning about the rain forest and giving back to it. Do not miss this one. If you can do the 7 day!

A trip to the this part of the Amazon is the jewel in the crown of those very special holidays, made all the more exceptional by the amazing vessel and crew with whom you spend your time. An extraordinary crew who make you feel every much a part of the family and for whom nothing is too much trouble. Every day was unique. The young chef produced exceptional natural food from the Amazon in a way that would not be out of place in any top London restaurant. There were well organised river trips with an incredible guide who was in love with his subject and had the skill to impart this to his guests and ensured that all saw what he was pointing out he did not want the visitor to miss an animal or event. We were taken to visit reserve areas and to meet the indigenous people all of whom welcomed us into their villages and the natural surroundings. We were shown how to use blow pipes and bows and arrows and shown how colours were produced from plants and how plants were turned into twine. Even the excursions by night were something different. I have never seen skies or heard animal calls like those experienced on the river. The milky way was astounding. The whole experience could not have been better planned. A magical trip. Such memories, thank you all for what you did. DO not forget the camera!!!

Far exceeding expectations this river cruise was simply outstanding!

The cabins were well appointed and comfortable and offered panoramic views of the river and it's banks via a "glass wall".

The staff were amazing, genuine, kind, professional and nothing was too much trouble. We have to mention the food, every meal was a delight, all freshly cooked and locally sourced. The chef produced local dishes with a Nouvelle Cuisne twist, yum!

The guide was incredibly knowledgable and dedicated and did his best to ensure that we saw as much of the wildlife as possible. The tally was as follows; grey dolphins, pink dolphins, sloths, anaconda, tarantula, caiman and birds too numerous to mention. We ventured by day and by night mainly by skiff and became emersed in the forest's sights and sounds. We visited local villages and met the people who live in the forest, what a privilege!

If you want to visit the Amazon but in comfort this is the holiday for you!

Enjoyable small Upper Amazon River Cruise from iquitos Peru. Staff and owners were very friendly and accommodating The ship only had 19 cabins and was very nice. The food was excellent. Visited rural villages, amonkey island, a butterfly farm and a manatee rescue center. Would highly recommend this cruise line
