A really special place where you can relax and have views over the Amazon rainforest. Laid back atmosphere where you really feel and are in somewhere different and off the beaten track.

Very nice walk on the malecon. Souvenier shops. Cafes. A ships wreck. At night you can wach street artists. And there you also find the "Dawn on the Amazon Cafe" - worth a visit.

If you are in Iquitos this place is worth a stroll. You can picked up some souvenirs as well in one of the many small stands.

Nice place to walk and shop souvenirs, there are restaurants with a variety of food. The sunset is awesome from this place and is close to the main square.

Not the prettiest malecon I've been to, but come for the views of the river and the jungly swamp. Prettiest at sunrise and sunset, I found it to be really crowded in the evenings and nights. We walked past entire communities of shacks on stilts...More
