Family
We did the Inca Jungle trail with our family of 4. We met with our guide Julian and soon adopted him as our second son. Julian did a really good job in modifying the trip to our specific needs. He arranged taxi’s, traintickets etc. I would highly recommend him. some details about our trip :
The bike ride down to Santa Maria was great. The extensive safety harness was not really required in my opinion since we basically followed an asphalted road with limited traffic. I would however advice the organisation to bring a spare bike along. We were lucky that my wife decided not to cycle but stayed in the van, so that we had a spare bike (1 flat tire + 1 shifter not working).
Rafting was nice (bring mosquito repellent).
The hike from Santa Maria to Santa Theresa was great. We did not meet a single other tourist. We will also remember Wilma who offered us a delicious lunch in her simple cabin next to the waterfall.
On the third day we split up. Me and my son walked to Machu Picchu village, while my wife and daughter took the train.
On day 4, the visit to Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu was magic. Upon advice of Julian, we started early so that we were the first to enter the site.
The ecolodges in Santa Maria And Santa Theresa ( vertikal lodge) were wonderfull.
The hostel in Machu Picchu village was below our standards. We even decided to change hotel.

Special greatings to Julian from Amaru-team

Absolutely the company to go with Excellent bikes (the Guide always available to fix stuff should any technical issues arise).Samuel was our guide- professional, friendly, patient and always keeping an eye on how everyone was.At every stop he gave us intel on what types of conditions were coming up and what we should be aware of.The bikes, the gear and the people were all top notch - Terra Quechua Peru stood head and shoulders above other companies we saw on the day. These guys are the best to get you stoked for one of the best experiences of your life!

Thank you again.

With my classmates from the University we did the 4-day Inca Jungle with Terra Quechua Peru and it was a great experience. Martín, our guide, is from the Peruvian highlands and he knows both the history of this place and the people who live there. Safety measures for ziplining, rafting, and biking were top notch. It was more fun than the Salkantay and much cheaper than the official Inca Trail.
This adventure takes you through a beautiful part of the country with breathtaking views! There were very few tourists on the hike. fantastic! just some of the very friendly locals. The food was VERY GOOD, I highly recommend it. Terra Quechua Peru treats its employees very well; the organization was perfect and the prices are very reasonable; HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I Had an amazing day with Gerson! Got picked up at the hostel early in the morning, and went to meet the other people in the group. Had a comfortable ride to the starting point, where they throughly went through the safety and how to use the bikes. Our guide Gerson and driver Eduardo were major contributors to the success of our day. Gerson spoke great English, and made us feel at ease, let us know what each section involved and was an outstanding guide!
Felt safe the whole way, food and drinks were great , we got free pictures already an hour after drop off at the hostel, the equipment was great (smooth and comfortable bikes), and the guides and driver were amazing.Everything went really smoothly the all days.Really nice adventures!
Highly recommend these guys and Terra Quechua Peru!

After reading the comments about some travelers in trip advisor before booking, we had the chance to make a reservation one month in advance and then the day arrived and we went on a trip to Machupicchu.

The bikes were well maintained and fit well. The security team was all high quality and in good condition, much better than some if the other pilots we saw used other companies. They informed us very well about security from the start and throughout the day, at the beginning of each section.

It was incredible every day, we did the Rafting with our security teams, we had a fun afternoon, then we had the walk to Cocalmayo where the hot springs are.
We also did the Zipline in Santa Teresa, we slid through the ropes an extreme adventure for the group.

The food and drink were great, there were vegetarian options available.
Everything was perfect and the value we got for the money was worth it. We can really recommend choosing this agency, for us it was the best option. Thanks again to the entire Terra Quechua team !

We chose to do the inca jungle trek on our trip to Machu Picchu as opposed to the classic inca trail as the activity list on this trail seemed quite interesting and exciting. The trail was indeed excellent and we really enjoyed our time. Our guide, Eric, was very good and I would recommend asking for him if booking through these guys.

On day 1, one begins with a couple of hours long drive ending up on top of a hill. From here you go mountain biking downhill which is a lot of fun. The guys give you all the equipment needed. Do be aware that the biking is on an actual road being used by other traffic as well, although many of the vehicles on there expect bikers around and drive sensibly. After lunch and a rest we proceeded to the river rafting activity. Big tip here is that do not forget your insect repellent. The river banks are full of sand flies & I was left with all these red marks on the legs which took a couple weeks to go away.

On day 2, we start the walking part with a nice 10-12 Km hike up and down wooded hills. The day involves a lot of walking, and the views along the way once one reaches the top of the hill are absolutely breath taking. The day ends in the hot springs which are a welcome relief after a long day of walking.

Day 3 is all about zip lining in the morning which is a very fun activity. We did six lines across a wide valley. Then one proceeds to the hydroelectric city and walks along the train tracks to Machu Picchu town. This section is in the middle of a well preserved rain/cloud forest & is breathtakingly beautiful. It is hard to describe in words the beauty of this place. It is also where one gets the first glimpse of Machu Picchu mountain from the valley.

Day 4 is the trek up to the historic site. Eric our guide was full of information all along the way and on the last day in particular gave us an excellent tour of the mountain. We also did the optional hike up to Huayna Picchu mountain which one needs to book before hand. I would highly recommend booking this section as the views from here again are breath taking.

Overall amazing experience & would happily recommend these guys to anyone going to Machu Picchu.

Me and my girlfriend did the Inca Jungle trek to Machupicchu for 4 days.
The tour was incredibly spectacular, we enjoyed it to the fullest with our guide, and the descent on the bike was great.
Part of the tour was also rafting and ziplining, we had hikes exploring the Amazon rainforest which is surrounded by tropical fruits and grains.
Finally we had our visit to the city of Machupicchu, which was very nice to walk around the main parts, and have a good professional information.
We recommend Terra Quechua Peru, it is a good company that offers good service.

Ibrahin our tour guide was totally awesome. The 4 day jungle trek was totally epic and I would highly recommend this tour if you are seeking adventure and new experiences.
Words can’t really describe how great it was.. but I shall do my best..
we were a group of 6 crazy 😜 ladies literally embracing the uncertainty
Day 1: We did down hill mountain biking & white water rafting Day 2: An awesome jungle trek that wasn’t for the faint hearted following parts of the Inca Trail.. arriving at the hot springs in the evening. Day3: 6 zip wires..followed by a scary ladder bridge and climbing a rock face.. lunch in the jungle followed by a final trek into Machu Picchu.. Day 4 ultimate experience Machu Picchu followed by Waynapicchu

Accommodation was basic so don’t expect the Hilton 😂.. it was cultural and the food was great the tour catered for the dietary needs of our group to include vegan and vegetarian

It’s an awesome tour ... get it booked 👍💕😎💃😬🤣😜

We did the 4 day Inca Jungle tour that included mountain biking, whitewater rafting, hot springs, zip lining, and hiking the journey to Machu Picchu. Our guide, Ibrah, was phenomenal. He handled any arising issues with ease and customized the adventure to meet our wants and needs. We had such a blast with him. The tour includes all meals which were great authentic peruvian food. The overall experience was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I highly recommend!
