I was so excited to do this wine and painting activity, but my husband was reluctant. Afterwards, he wouldn't stop talking about how fun it was, and now it has been one of the highlights of our trip. Mariagracia went out of her way to provide us with a class on a day she normally didn't work, and by the end we felt more like friends than tourists. The food was delicious, the painting instruction was informative and fun, and the view simply amazing. Oh, and there's wine. Mariagracia also set us up with her brother, Rodney, who leads ATV tours of the local area! Another fun day and another chance to meet more of this family.

This was the second time I did the tour with Carnaval Paint and the experience was equally incredible and fulfilling. I think it is a unique experience to enjoy both the sacred valley and Sacsayhuaman views. In addition the vibes of Maria Gracia and Ian are beautiful and regenerating. I highly recommend taking this experience and reconnecting with internal creativity; with your family, or your partner and also with friends. Ive been going to Cusco for more than 6 years and this is one of my favorite activities ever!!!<3 <3

We journeyed to the countryside (1.5 hr away from Cusco) and enjoyed the scenic ride seeing a facet of Peru you wouldn't find if you just stayed in the city. When we arrived, Mariagracia had a picnic with cheese and wine set up for us! Once we took in the views, tried the local cheese and wines, we were ready to paint! Mariagracia gave us the freedom to paint whatever we wanted and how we wanted, while giving us needed advice on how to illustrate. Overall, my friends and I had a great time painting and wining! Would definitely recommend this to visitors in Peru. A very unique experience that is hard to find elsewhere.

Everything was perfectly arranged, with delicious wines and some cheese, fruits and other bites. Maria was very friendly and nice and a great teacher for first timers such as us (and fluently in English). Funnily enough I look different at the mountains now and see more colours than before, maybe I should become a painter.. Pick-up and drop-iff from hotel with Mario was perfect and you get a small tour on the way.

This was truly an exceptional experience. I contacted Mariagracia before leaving for Peru, and the communication and payment were very clear and simple. She arranged for the driver, Mario, to pick us up at the main plaza in Cusco. We were taken to the painting site in the Sacred Valley where we met her. She had set up the painting easels alongside a blanket with a nice assortment of snacks that included gourmet breads, cheeses, nuts, fruits and wonderful red and white wines. As it was just me and my boyfriend that day, we were able to have a lot of individualized attention, from sketching on the canvas all the way through the painting, all in a very relaxed atmosphere with Mariagracia giving subtle suggestions along the way. The view was incredible, and the painting session was very fun and enjoyable. After we were done painting, we sat for a while chatting, eating the snacks and taking in the view. Mariagracia is a wonderful artist, but her true gift is how she connects with people. She is extremely warm and friendly, and it is very apparent that she takes pride in the service she offers. She not only wants you to have a good experience with her but truly wants you to enjoy your time in Cusco and the surrounding area. She is the sweetest, most hospitable person we met in Peru, and I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone that is interested. On a side note, Mario is a very easygoing and safe driver. He took us to Salineras after the session as well as to a few stops at local textile shops. Because we were so comfortable with him, and because he knew so much about the Incan ruins and local tourism, we actually asked him to take us around the following day as well and ended up seeing several things that we would never have otherwise known about, all for a very reasonable price. Make sure to ask Mariagracia for his availability if this is the kind of sightseeing (non-touristy tours) that you prefer. Thank you, Mariagracia, for making this such a wonderful experience for us! We really enjoyed meeting you and sharing our time there with you!
