My partner and I went on the 6 days 5 nights tour early July last year and it was the absolute highlight of our 1 year travelling. From the wonderful office staff who let us store our bags in the office during our trip, to our INCREDIBLE guides, chefs and boat captains, we are so incredibly grateful. One thing I definitely want to say to anyone thinking about going to Manu- we talked to a lot of other people we met during our 1 month in Peru and those who saw the Amazon rainforest from Iquitos got a very different, touristy and crowded experience. We felt like we were the LUCKIEST people going to Manu instead of Iquitos, it is the opposite of touristy and really felt like a family. This was a lot of money for us, (over a months' budget!) and we thought it was worth absolutely every penny. Thank you again for a trip of a lifetime, it honestly was a dream come true.

Me & my girlfriend booked the 6D/5N trip to Manu biosphere. It was absolutely brilliant. The staff are all fantastic and professional. We had a tour of 12 people so had 2 guides (Jordy & Alex) who were great, always there to help, always happy & very knowledgeable! Also the 2 chefs the Bernidino’s & the boat/mini bus drivers all made a huge effort to make our experience as best as possible. The guides put so much effort to ensure that the treks were made as safe, but as fun as possible. Great food, lots of laughter & the whole group made friends. This tour has made our trip to Peru so great already and would 1000x recommend to anyone looking to book a trip to the jungle! Thank you to everyone at Amazon wildlife Peru! Love Chae and claire x

I booked the 6N/7D Tour on 19.12.19 into the Experimental Zone in Manu Nationalpark and it was definitely the best tour during my Peru Trip. Although quite hard due to the climatic conditions and the rainy season we saw amounts of different mammals, birds, insects and reptiles. An unforgettable experience exploring this protected, untouched part of the jungle especially the Cocha Salvador. The night walks were amazing and observing the Tapir Clay Lick from a platform was just to good to be true. A big thank you goes to the team. I wouldn't imagine that meals prepared on a boat can be so good. Thank you Richard for preparing us such delicious meals. Amerigo, thank you for driving us carefully and safe through the muddy paths and a special thanks goes to Alex Sandro Olave, our humble guide who guided us very safely, spotted the sometimes well hidden creatures and explained and answered every single question we had and we had a lot ;-) 10 points guys. Miss you Ivonne P.

Since we were visiting Peru, we were also planning to visit the Amazon Forest. As a biologist (mainly focussed on mammals), I was quite picky when choosing the operator and after mailing a number of them, Amazon Wildlife Peru seemed to be the best choice. They were quick to reply, knowledgable and flexible and we are very glad we took the tour with them. We decided to stay as much time as possible in the hart of Manu National Park, so we chose the 7d/6n tour. This is an intensive 7 days since you need to cover quite some distance (by car and boat) before entering the prime habitat. But what a journey it was, with plenty of things to see while travelling! We had an excellent guide, Rive, which grew up in the jungle and was very well informed about the birds (species and sounds), mammals, local culture and the amazon in general. Which I also really appreciated was if you asked him a question he did not know, he just said it (which is way way better than inventing an answer or a story :p). He is a very good in finding animals (birds, mammals, but also frogs, snakes... everything). His philosophy is: we will try to get to see everything that moves on our path, and we try to maximise our chances, but it is wildlife in the jungle, so there are no guarantees. A very healthy philosophy, although at least part of the group was very eager to try and see the jaguar. We saw to many birds to describe here but the mammals were truely amazing. We saw 6 monkey species, capybara, tapirs (at least 3 individuals), deer, a family of giant otters, and during a nightwalk an ocelot and a puma! These last two cats were a lucky shot (Rive told me he never saw two cats during one nightwalk in 15 years), so don't get to excited, but who knows... The jaguar however chose to not show itself. We also had a great cook, Bernardinoh! He cooked fresh, tasty, local and diverse dishes for us during the whole week. You will love it, and you will be full. And he did so in the boat, from the car, or in the very nice and comfortable lodges. In conclusion, I would really recommend this to people wanting to discover the real amazon forest in a comfortable way. We loved it! Kristijn

We went on a 7 day tour to Manu Park. We had a fantastic experience! Our guide, Rive has a local background and a huge knowledge about the jungle. He always gave 100% and was very enthusiastic about all flora and fauna. We saw lots of animals, including many birds, the Tapirs and during a night walk an Ocelot and a Puma!! A breathtaking experience!! Bernardinoh, our cook spoiled us with many delicious dishes, which included lots of local food. It was alwas fresh and tasty, with lots of fruit and veggies. He even made a spontanious birthday cake for us to celebrate my husbands birthday! The accomodation was comfortable and clean, with power to charge your phone and mosquito nets for every bed. We would absolutely recomend this trip. It is worth every penny you spend!
