Thanks so much to Mandy for arranging such a wonderful trip to Peru. We stayed in Lima for 2 days, where we were lucky to have a very knowledgeable guide to show us around the main areas of the city. Thanks, Carolina! We then flew to Cuzco and on to the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and back to Cuzco. Once again we had a knowledgeable guide who gave us lots of information about local culture, beliefs and lifestyle. Thanks, Elizabeth! Macchu Pichu was obviously the highlight, but our trip to a local weaver's home in Amaru, high in the mountains, was also fascinating. I can't imagine driving up those windy roads, but the driver was excellent.
Our trip to Peru ended with a dinner tasting at Chicha restaurant in Cuzco, with several delicious dishes and, of course, a Pisco Sour.
Our return flight to Lima was cancelled but Mandy was able to find an alternative flight for us, which took all the worry from us.
Thanks to Mandy, the guides and drivers, who did such an amazing job, and made our trip so memorable.

Prior to our trek, Mandy met with us (a student group) to go over what the trek would be like, which was very helpful.
When one of our students experienced symptoms of severe altitude sickness while on the first day of our three-day trek, Herbert the and muleteers helped us evacuate the student on horse-back and get back to our hotel. Mandy helped us arrange transportation to meet back up with our group at the Lares hot springs after our trek. Mandy's communication was key to helping me, a group instructor, relax while separated from our group. Mandy is a native English-speaker, which was very helpful.
I did not get to spend much time with Herbert and his crew on the trek, but the kids all raved about him and had a very positive experience. While another one of our students was sick with a virus during the trek, Herbert helped our other instructor take care of the student in the middle of the night and throughout the remainder of the trip. He was knowledgable and caring, helping to ease this student's worries.
Pedro gave us a great tour of Machu Picchu as well.

Mandy made our trip in Cuzco-Machu Picchu - Nasca in Oct 2015 a wonderful vacation and memory.
She efficiently helped prepare document for visa application with Pesu Embassy before we paid tourism fee to her; made a custom tour package for us professionally and patiently; coordinated effectively with various agents in different tour sites and was very experienced in handling emergency situation (for example: sent us earlier to the airport to prevent from being stuck in Cuzco given an expected local strike occurred).
Strongly recommend her as your tour agent for visiting Peru.

Thank you Teri and Nelson for trusting Majestic Peru for your travel plans in Peru. You were a pleasure to deal with and fun to spend the day travelling through the Sacred Valley with. We are happy that you enjoyed your tour and look forward to a possible reunion in Toronto.

Booked this Tour since Mandy very acommodating and responsive to our inquiry through my friends Amelia.
The service Mandy made for us was vary and ranging from entrance ticket to machu pichu, city transfer from Puno to Chivay, Colca Canyon Tour, as well as day trip transfer from Chivay to Arequipa. This review will covers the Colca Canyon Tour.
Mandy gave us a very knowledgable and down to earth guy named Frank. He was very attentive and knowledgeable not only on geographical aspect of the places we visited, but also the cultural and historical sides.
He knows all the best spots for picture perfect, and somewhat managed the tight itinerary to make stops on all those places. As a result, we drain our clicks on our camera for wonderful sceneries we would never forget.
He took us to see condors, and the best war was cultural blend in corporaque village where we can feel how is it to be locals and involved in activities such peeling the corn, feeding the horses, and cook locals food. Truly that was cultural experience at its best.
I would recommend Majestic Tour for any unforgettable Peru Experience!!

Our family (kids ages 17, 20, and 22 years old) just returned from a wonderful 10-day vacation in Peru, expertly organized by Majestic Peru Tours. Between the five of us we have experience traveling on six continents, including professionally guided itineraries and self guided tours. Except that I wish we would've/could've stayed longer, there is nothing I would've done differently. Mandy was attentive to our every need and interest throughout the planning process, right through to our arrival back home. I gave her some rough ideas of what we wanted out of this trip, from dining in Lima to hiking part of the Inca Trail, and she took it from there. Everything went like clockwork. We were in the best of hands!

Last July four of us travelled in Peru for 3 weeks and Mandy at Majestic Peru planned the entire trip for us including activities in Lima, Cuzco/Lares Trek/Machu Picchu, Arequipa/Colca Canyon, Puno/Lake Titicaca, and Puerto Maldonado/Posada Amazonas Lodge. We had an incredible trip which was very well planned with everything going smoothly along the way! In the planning stages Mandy was very responsive to our needs and wishes. As a result the trip measured up to our hopes. The guides were excellent with Joel and the other men on the Lares Trek going the extra mile in making it magical for us. We appreciated the company's commitment to sharing Peruvian culture with us, and striving to improve the lives of those in the communities we traveled through. Joel's respect and care for the villagers was palpable. The Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, and jungle guides/trips were excellent and informative as well. Dancing on Amantani Island will forever be a highlight for me as well as standing at the top of the canopy tower peering over the top of the jungle as the golden rays of the setting sun washed the sky. It was an absolutely unforgettable trip on so many levels for all of us. Thanks very much, Majestic Peru, for making it happen for us.

This is one of the most professional, ethical and personal travel specialists that I have ever encountered.
We wanted to fit a lot of things into a relatively short amount of time and discover as much of Peru as possible. I contacted many agencies and read a lot of guide books plus online information on how I could arrange a holiday with everything that we wanted to see. Only through Majestic Peru did we manage to schedule everything that we wanted to do in the time. From start to finish, the whole trip was organised to perfection by Majestic Peru, and for a reasonable price. I expect a few hiccups here and there, as happens in life, but they really exceeded expectations in ensuring everything ran smoothly.
We provided a list of things that we wanted to do, and Majestic Peru made them all happen, plus suggested some additional things to experience that we could fit in on our travels. The quality of their insight and local knowledge really ensured that we experienced the big tourist wows (like Machu Picchu) as well as explored the hidden side of Peru. It truly was special to connect with the local people and environment in a way that transcended the relationship of a tourist. I believe that this is only made possible because the team at Majestic Peru operate a completely ethical and environmentally aware business. We really felt that we were supporting and not intruding on the culture and land, and when we had guides we felt that they were equally passionate and considerate of the amazing scenery, villages, people and history that they were introducing us to.
The approach of Majestic Peru is very flexible - we provided a wish list and some narrow date options with a rough budget. They came back with a complete itinerary with a number of options for our consideration. We could pick and choose what we liked and they were more than happy to accommodate any changes based on itinerary, comfort and budget. A very personal approach that is completely tailored to your situation.
A big thank you to Majestic Peru and the whole team! We are really looking forward to our return to your beautiful country :)

My fiancée and I were lucky enough to find Majestic Peru before we started planning 3 weeks in Peru with the plan to take in everything it has to offer. Our contact at Majestic was extremely knowledgeable, having visited nearly all the places we ended up staying and other comparable options in every area. This knowledge and insight really helped us to organise a completely bespoke holiday itinerary and we honestly feel we couldn't have got anything more out of our time there.
Every accommodation option we stayed at was above the average quality in the area and often had something notable about it, be it a focus on sustainability, great customer service, or and independent spirit different to the masses. Highlights included staying with a local family on the remote island of Taquile who were such lovely people with an amazing community spirit and such warmth. The boutique hotel in Cusco was very charming inside and out and in the heart of the old town which made it great to see lots of the cultural heritage in the area. Our amazon lodge stay was also unforgettable and we left privileged to have seen so much indigenous wildlife in the presence of knowledgeable and respectful guides.
The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly our trek from Cuzco to the Machu Pichu area. We left with our guides and chef and were extremely touched by a magical blessing ceremony conducted by a local shaman. After this unforgettable moment, we realised how Majestic's focus on sustainability and decency extends to everything the do. Our guides were shining examples of good human beings and from the local area we trekked through and as a consequence warm, open and great company. I will never forget playing football with local children on a mountainside above the cloud line dodging rocks and livestock, and running down a steep slope to fetch the ball whenever it went over the edge. Simply amazing and those children were far fitter than I! When we got to Machu Pichu, we had the most amazing time and the experience was beyond what we thought it could be, expertly supplemented with detailed knowledge from our guide.
I could a whole load more about our unforgettable time in Peru but I could never do it justice...
What I must say is that if you want to see as much of the county as possible, in the most sustainable, good natured and spiritual way possible, Majestic Peru are definitely the leaders covering everything the rich country of Peru has to offer. Their staff are the nicest people we've met and we can't wait to go back and do even more things through them!

Whenever making travel arrangements for a group, for an unfamiliar place, you really need to count on the expertise of the people you're working with. Mandy Kalitsis was the primary contact for our school group, coming from Mexico. We were somewhat late when we began making our plans, and Mandy sensed our urgency from the start. There was never any delay when responding to our emails. She helped us select an overnight trip, by car/van, to Paracas National Reserve from our base in Lima, Peru. We had a friendly and professional driver, great accommodations while we were there, and a knowledgeable tour guide in the reserve. She also included a boat trip to the Islas Ballestas for penguin and sea-lion watching. For our group, these turned out to be perfect recommendations, and at a fair price too. Don't mess around with amateurs - use Majestic - and ask for Mandy!
