We used Inka Altitude for a 2 day Machu Picchu and Lake Humantay tour. I never leave reviews, but this company had everything so organized and made sure our trip was perfect that I had to leave one. Tony was our tour guide and he had the absolute best personality. He made our trip! He was extremely passionate about his job and taught us so much history as we explored Peru. It was very sad to leave him after two days because we felt as though he had become very close friends with us. Getting to Machu Picchu is a lot of planning with the trains/bus tickets/entrance tickets etc and they had everything perfectly planned out. I would recommend using an excursion to visit. Not only did they give us the best experience ever, but they were also flexible when we had to change dates and the people coming on the trip due to covid. I would recommend this company to anyone.

We took the 4 day Inka Altitude tour to Machu Picchu. The tour was great and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a bit more variety rather than trekking for four days.

Our tour guide, Broly, was great company, knowledgeable about the route and taking time to explains things along the way.

We booked the 2D-Inka Trail with Inka Altitude. Our guide Tupac performed a short briefing two days ahead with me and my friend. After being picked up at 4 a.m. we drove to Ollantaytambo where we took the train to KM 104 Chachabamba. We checked in onto the trail, were provided with a lunch packet and started our hike. Tupac would make breaks when we needed them and provide information about the spots we were at as well as plants and animals. The hike was hard but doable. Arriving at Intipunku (the Sun Gate) was the best moment during our hike. After descending to Machu Picchu we were brought to a hotel (Margeritas House). In the evening we went for dinner with Tupac, which was also nice. The next morning we went up again to Machu Picchu to visit the inside. Tupac walked through with us and provided a lot of information and showed us special spots. Afterwards our tour with him ended. Unfortunately we were not provided with the bus ticket going down again, but with a train ticket and a pick up in Ollantaytambo.
Our guide Tupac was the best! (:
We really enjoyed the tour with him. We didn‘t like the hotel and it would be better to also include the bus ticket down on the second day.
We would totally recommend the trip!

Perfect! The guide was excellent, not only guiding the walk but also making us understand the rich Inca culture, rituals, and traditions, with an admirable willingness and knowledge about everything. The walk is hard but completely worthwhile! The sightseeing is breathtaking and unforgettable. I really recommend doing it at your own pace, with no hurry as it is doable within your own limits.

Our 2-day Inca trail was the highlight of our trip to Peru. From the very beginning I contacted Jose of Inka Altitude via Whatsapp, he made all the preparations for us and has been very patient with all our requests for changes, etc. He was always prompt in responding to messages and queries. Everything you can wish for from a travel agency, Inka Altitude provided!
John, our guide during the Inca trail was very professional and knowledgeable. He shared a lot of good information about the trail, the Inka culture, and the ruins we passed along the way. Good to tell that instead of scolding me when he noticed I was struggling with a heavy backpack, he offered to carry it for me for most of the trail. That was a very big relief, indeed.
Thank you Jose and John for making our trip an unforgettable experience!!!
I highly recommend Inka Altitude for a professional travel service for your trips in Peru!

My family and I did a tour package with Inka Altitude where we went to Machu Picchu at sunrise, went to Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain with local children, rode ATVs to Apukunaq Tianan and more! Our tour guide, Tony, was very helpful, punctual and kind for our duration of the trip. He helped us combat any altitude sickness we had and was very informative whenever we had questions. He even stopped randomly during a car ride and bought us new fruit to try! Alongside a unique experience and a wonderful tour guide, it just felt surreal to learn about a new culture and see stunning views that were charged with special moments. We highly recommend Inka Altitude and hope we can reunite with Tony in the future someday!

We went on a three day trek via Salcantay mountains to Machu Picchu with Tony and had a great time. The hike is demanding but doable and the different landscapes from the mountain to jungle area is amazing. The tour was perfectly organized and the guides were super friendly. Tony speaks English very well and can explain you the history of Peru and the Incas in great detail. There are different activities along the way which can be organized according to your needs. The highlight for us was Machu Picchu in the end of the trek.
We thank Tony for the trip again and wish all the best.

Our recent journey through Peru was nothing short of incredible, all thanks to the fantastic tour we booked. From the Sacred Valley's hidden gems like Chinchero, Moray, Maras, and Ollantaytanbo, to the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu and our Huayna Picchu trek, every moment was seamlessly organized.

This all-inclusive service covered transport, accommodation, entrance fees, and expert explanations. Our guide, Broly, was a standout – passionate and knowledgeable, he truly enriched our experience. As a group of five friends, we couldn't have asked for more.

In short, this tour made our Peru adventure unforgettable. Kudos to Broly and the team for their dedication. Highly recommended!

Warmly,

Did the Chinchero, Moray and Salt Mines Day Tour. Really liked the tour guide as she provided a lot of information, friendly and able to switch smoothly between Spanish and English.

However, I personally felt that the tour at the salt mines was a bit rushed and more time could have been given. The tour also started quite late (not the company’s fault as we were waiting for 2 latecomers). Going forward, the company could look into being more strict on timeliness as the others should not be penalised (shorter visits at touristic places) just because of a couple of latecomers.

That said, Maras and Moray is really worth the visit!

Our group had the best experience on our tour with Inka Altitude. Tony our guide was so knowledgeable about the sites and the culture and went out of his way to make this a special trip for us. His passion for Peru and for his work was obvious throughout the whole trip. We feel like we learned a lot about the Peruvian culture while getting to see some of the most beautiful sights! This tour was incredible. Would recommend this tour and our guide Tony to anyone looking to visit Peru!
