Breathtaking look at times past
Dec 2019
It was a unique experience to be inside and look at the religious items. The design and artistery were amazing. Not to be missed.

Beautiful
Jun 2019
I visited the museum, which is beautiful. The architecture, grounds and exhibits are all beautiful, especially the room with all the gold artifacts. Don't miss the library - it's amazing. It's not on the main Cusco tourist ticket, but well worth a visit.

Beautiful

The church is beautiful. There is a square with a snake on the grass infront of the church.
When you arrive in Cusco you learn everything about its trilogy. That said you'll understand how you start seeing pumas, condors and snakes everywhere.

Beautiful art and architecture!
Sep 2019
We really enjoyed our visit of the convent. The art painted on the walls and the architecture of the courtyard really depicts the history and culture of Cusco. A must!

This church is lovely and in a bustling tourist town it nearly offers a sanctuary of normality. A must visit!

Disorganized but Worthwhile
Feb 2019 • Couples
We stopped here a little before 2:00. They opened around 2:10.
The inside rooms were gradually opened over the next 20-25 minutes.

The paintings were good but the gold and silver artifacts, contained in the indoor rooms, were outstanding. Glad we went but I recommend going in the morning or late afternoon when things are probably better organized.

interesting architecture
Dec 2018 • Solo
a tour guide is very helpful understanding the basic history and appreciating the effects of the earthquake and tremors in the city. the trapezoids to steady the building and dissipate the shock show why the Inca structures stood while the later Spanish ones took a topple in the "big" one in the 1500s.

Great photo op with amazing architecture
Apr 2018 • Solo
I didn't visit inside due to time restraints and it was my last afternoon in Cusco but we enjoyed a group photo op in front thanks to another friendly foreign tourist. It's located only a block or so away from Plaza de Armas.

Great historic church to tour and see. All of the historic artifacts really help to appreciate the history of the Spanish in the area.
