PumaPath was recommended by a friend, and I can see why. The company owner, Eddy, recommended the Lares trek as a tour quite different to the Inca trail. We trekked through beautiful scenery with a great guide (Guillermo), chef and horsemen. We stayed in small local villages and saw more locals than tourists. The knowledge of the local people, cultures, traditions and language, from both Guillermo and Eddy, and their desire to teach us was just perfect. Topped off by a great day in the crowds of Machu Picchu; again, with detailed explanations regarding the site. Highly recommended.…

Everything about this tour from start to finish ill never forget. It was a lifetime experience that ill always remember. Eddy was the best tour guide I've ever had sort of like a great friend! Very informative! If we didn't have him as a guide I don't think the trip would be the same. Hope to visit again soon!…

I can't say enough about Eddy and Puma Path! I had done some research and was pretty sure I picked the right company, but I had no idea it would be as special as it was. Eddy was my guide and he listened to what I asked for and planned the perfect 2 days, better than I could have imagined!! Eddy grew up in this area and his passion and knowledge of the Inca people and its culture. is so contagious. I felt so connected to this area, its beauty and spiritual energy. Its hard to describe how peaceful and intense the area makes you feel. We went off the beaten path and I was blown away at the views and vistas and the hikes to places where we were the only ones around. The hike to the waterfall was awesome, passing a farmer and his family, chatting with them and then chatting with sisters washing clothes by the creek. There were no paths, just sheep and pigs in the way, as well as rocks and water Eddy made the path....it was awesome!!! The sacred areas he took me, I will never forget and will always be grateful for what I saw, the children and families I met. It was the highlight of my trip and I hope to return. Eddy is the best, you wont be disappointed. …
