The Rainbow Mountain hike was my favorite part of the trip. We hiked to 17,000 ft!! It was crazy!! Probably one of the coolest things I've ever done. I highly recommend it!

The bus dropped us off near the gate, not a very far walk. But, there is quite a bit of walking once you get inside with lots of stairs. My 79 year old hsb has a knee problem but he did well with 2 walking sticks. I hope... More

I'm thinking of going to Peru in March 15th and I'm booking a 10 days trip with Kaypi Peru tours has anyone use them before and is it worth the $2349 a person and this is what it includes. Day 1: Travel to Lima, Peru. Day 2: Tour the city of Lima. Day 3: Take a bus to Ica and explore the Huacachina oasis in the afternoon. Day 4: See the Nazca Lines from high above during an overflight. To me this seems like an extremely rushed trip. You've got one and a half days in Cusco and nothing for the Sacred Valley. Normally I recommend two days each. And day 8 makes no sense to me. From Cusco it's about a 3-4 hour train ride to AC so you would not allocate a whole day for this. I wonder if they plan to do a SV tour on this day and take you on the train late in the day. I can't believe an organized tour like this would completely skip all the major Sacred Valley sites like...More
