We went to Rainbow Mountain for a day trip, and then did the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu for 4 days. Our guide was Pedro and he was great! He was very knowledgeable and showed us a lot of cool things. He was very entertaining, spoke English very well, and was very well read and updated with pop culture that we never ran out of things to talk with him about- this made the endless hiking a lot more fun! We were sad to part ways on our last day after he gave us a tour of Machu Picchu and took thousands of pictures for us! We were a group of 4, we thought we would be in a bigger group but it was just us, Pedro, the chef, and 2 porters. We have never stayed at a hostel before, but the hostel we stayed at in Aguas Calientes was very spacious, clean, and close to the Plaza de Armas as well as restaurants and convenience stores. The porters and chefs did an amazing job, aside from carrying all our belongings and tents and kitchen equipment, they were able to cook amazing food with limited supplies and equipment! At the end of the trip, we were very happy that we went with Do Adventures and highly recommend doing a trip with them!

Do Adventures provided us with all the support we needed, even after the trekking. The trek was great, including its food, the guide, te hotel in Aguas Calientes and the information provided by the company. We had several problems with strikes and flights postponed and Do Adventures gave us all support, even when it was not their responsability. There are several agencies offering the trek, but Do Adventures gaves us more, with the necessary safety and transparency.

We did Salkantay Trek 5 days to Machu picchu in May 2015. I cannot emphasize enough how professional and thoughtful DoAdventure crews were! Special thanks to our guide Alfredo and the chef Luis. And of course big thanks to all the Company workers! I fell in love with Cusco and Peruvian people because of so much love Alfredo passed on us. Truly, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful country. I was worried that the trekking might have been too hard for me but with all the help and encouragement they gave me I had a wonderful time in the mountains and in that beautifully lake, the first day. This incredible trek for the mountains will be forever in our mind, thanks so much again. we recommend the Adventure private services.
