We started planning our trip with our travel agent, Candy. She got in touch with Jarrod because I knew we wanted to stay at the Tree house Lodge. We started our trip there and we were not disappointed. It was quite the adventure! Food was awesome and our guide was informative and hilarious. The rest of our trip included the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and everything around and in between. Our guides, Wider and Willberto were incredible! The knowledge they shared was unbelievable. I'm a social studies teacher and will use much of this in my classroom. Besides all the "touristy" stuff, we got to observe much of the Peruvian culture which is what we enjoy! I can't imagine a better experience. Highly recommended this agency!

Well, it started with a promise to hike Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, then to hike to top of Waynu Picchu to COMPLETE the experience of a lifetime of dreaming, planning etc... The permits to climb Waynu Picchu were in question and Jared Snow FAILED to deliver! The final time on the Sacred site of Machu Picchu barely exceeded 90 minutes... after 4 days of hiking 25 miles of historic Inca Trail, to be only there for so few minutes - TERRIBLE planning by leaders and coordinators. But we had to go to lunch and leave!!!

Destination Peru was organised by my travel agent and I can truly say I could not fault their professionalism and service. They were always punctual and in the 4 days we were with them we were immersed in the history and philosophy of The Inca and the Quechua people. Our guide Jose was just fantastic in his knowledge and insight into the ancient culture.

Jared helped me and my girlfriend plan our itinerary for an upcoming trip to Peru in January 2017. He gave us a great low-down of what to expect (especially the weather), and also how to make the best of only a short opportunity to travel. I can't wait to continue working with him as our plans progress, and once we are in Peru!!!

After a lot of research online and on the phone, I decided to book my trip to Peru with Destination peru. They couldn't have been more helpful in the planning stages, gave me all kinds of recommendations and saved my trip. I hadn't planned enough time in Cusco, I thought it would be easier but Jared explained how it all works. Man was he right! I can't imagine doing this trip without their expertise. I got to build my own tour with them, focused on the ruins which is exactly what I wanted. Can't thank you all enough. Especially the team in Cusco, Javier and Wilder and our driver Carlos. Trip of a lifetime. 5 stars!
