    Interesting
Interesting museum to learn about the cultures of Peru and its history. They show some Inca mummies. Although somewhat expensive and lacks a certain "formality". The person at the entrance on the upper floor not very friendly to visitors.

    A very complete museum
I loved this museum, the most complete of all I visited. It looks small on the way in but it's really tremendous! They charge student admission, so if you have a student card, you pay half the general admission fee, I really liked that. It has beautiful views from the second level! I totally recommend visiting it ❤️

    A First Step in Cusco
I think it can be a very good first step in Cusco; understand a little of the variety of pre-Inca cultures, by then understand the expansion, dominance and decline Inca. Accessible value, nice local. We had the joy of vr, in the end, a very interesting exhibition of ethnomusicology! Recommended!!!

It operates in the colonial mansion and was the home of Huáscar during the Inca Empire. It was built by Admiral Francisco Alderete Maldonado at the beginning of the 17th century. Impressive collection of pre-Inca and Inca objects, including mummies
At the entrance we hired a very good guide who explained the content of the various rooms to us.

Acknowledging that a visit to the Imperial city of Cusco is pretty much all about the Inkas, a visit this museum borders on the essential. The exhibits build up slowly from pre-Inka times and by the end you will have a good understanding and feel for the greatest empire of the Americas and its legacy. Allow one and a half hours; entrance charge is a modest 10 Soles for tourists, and S/.5 for Peruvian nationals.

Very interesting collection of artifacts. The museum covered a broad range of Incan history all the way through to the current day. Don't miss the mummies! Also, it's a sales job, but you don't want to miss a very interesting room near the end of the tour that has many musical instruments and demonstrations on how they work.

Nice museum with a little bit of everything about the Incas. Its 20 Soles for Foreginers. We stayed maybe an hour. You could spend a day here if you read everything - which maybe only 25% is in English. Best part were the mummys.

Nice historical museum. Great artifacts, but the graphics were not detailed enough to tell the history with any detail. It was worth the time, but we didn’t leave with much new knowledge that we didn’t gain during our tours of the area.

I was quite surprised to find myself bored in an Inkan museum.
The rich culture and heritage of the Inka empire is somewhat lost in its 20 rooms, with many displays of artifacts lacking any meaningful description. Moreover, some displays aren’t even translated into English- frustrating since Cusco is one of Peru’s most visited cities.
I would have liked to see more effort put into the displays- perhaps some interactive displays and more detailed descriptions.
Unfortunately, this was my most disappointing stop in Cusco.

We really enjoyed our visit to this small museum. The displays were informative and the explanations were in both English and Spanish, making it easy to understand the exhibits. The museum is not huge but the collection is nice and informative. It is worth stopping in if you have time while in Cusco.

This museum has great potential, nice old palace, interesting artefacts and information. However, it is neglected, worn down and desperately needs updating. Very few interactive displays, most of the interactive displays were out of order.

Our favourite was definitely the Inca’s mummies and the skulls. Shame that some of the description was in Spanish only, some of the description was so old and outdated. The lighting is also poor in some areas.

The ticket was reasonable (10 S).

This museum was interesting. Museum building not in good shape. This was probably the best museum, we went into in Peru which is not saying much.

The Inca museum, just off the main square in Cusco is well worth a visit. Interesting Incan artefacts. Very reasonable entrance fee (10 sol).
