I had the experience going from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes with Vistadome and returning to Ollantaytambo with Expedition and for me, Vistadome is better ( expedition it's fine but small wagons that moves so bad!). Have good service, ok snacks, and wonderful views from windows....More

Good organised, excellent service on board very clean , you just have to sit down and relax it take some time but changing scenery makes it interesting, there are some suprises there on the back ride so you havo to prepare your cameras!

They usually give you a carriage number and a choice of several seats. The left hand side was best when we went up as it was along side the river and offered great views. Right hand side best on return but it does depend if... More

Is it correct that carry on bags are limited to 10 lbs? Staying two days in Aguas Caliente and would like a little more.

you can always call them or send them an email but I don't think there is any restriction on weight

Hi, Can someone please confirm the following: Ollantaytambo - MP carriage A Seat 1 is this the very 1st row of seat with a nice view forward? MP - Cusco carriage F Seat 1 will this mean that I am in the 1st row seat but will be looking at the rear of carriage E? Thank you in advance!

We got same carriage A. It is the first train and seat 1 means you will be seating at the window but fronting the other way. But don't worry the view is fantastic, especially the Vistadome
