Took a Bus for 1.50 Soles from the center of Cusco. The hike through Inka Way was amazing with spectacular view from the height. If you can't find the way to reach the top the locals would be happy to assist you.

Similar to Moray but based on a square design rather than curves. The stonework is in very good condition and the distribution of water throughout the site adds to its attractiveness. Great views of the surrounding area from the Inca site

We visited Tipon as part of the Cusco and Sacred Valley tours. The history was interesting and the landscapes were beautiful. I would recommend visiting this site as part of the Cusco and Machu Picchu experience!

Tipon is a terraced site for Incan agriculture where much of the irrigation has been restored so you really can see how it functioned. We are very glad to have been able to visit

I don't know. Not much in tipon. The ruins are overrated. on the way back from Machu Picchu, when the train ends in oyantambo, ask your taxi to stop at the maras salt flats.

We booked a taxi from our hotel, and he waited for us. It was 99 soles for the day, and he took us to another site as well. Super easy and a great way to get there.

In Cusco there are buses running from the street "Calle San Augustin". Close to the Qorikancha. This takes you right out to Tipon. You will have to wait for a bus with Tipon on it's windscreen. From memory you pay around 2... More
