Quechuas Expeditions(Large, Small and private Groups Specialists)The Best Local Tour Operator Sustainable tourism consists on providing direct and/or indirect benefits to the communities that are visited. Whenever it is possible, this is done through sustainable activities that protect the environment and the participation in social projects that help local communities and protected areas, always providing a high quality service.Being ecologically responsible on a trip doesn’t mean sacrificing the quality of the stay nor the travel plans. It basically consists on planning the visit in a more conscientious way.We firmly believe the communities visited must get a direct benefit, whenever possible, through the sustainable trips, environment protection, and social projects.

My family of 6 (wife, myself & 4 kids) have traveled all around the World and have seen and experienced some incredible sights but hiking the Inca Trail for 4 days with Quechaus Expeditions had to have been the most memorable and truly rewarding. It's simply breathtaking. I had tried to book the traditional 4d/3nt Inca Trail trek in 2014... More

We did 4 day Salkantay trek on the 7th of August with Quechuas Exp. The first day we started hiking from the altitude of 3,800 m to 4,600 which was hard but the scenery with Salkantay mountain was the most impressive one in my life. The food was tasty and our guide Willy friendly and professional. I can highly recommend Salkantay... More

My family and I had a wonderful time hiking the Inca Trail with Quechuas Expeditions. Our guide, Wily, was wonderful. We could not have asked for a more knowledgeable, supportive, or entertaining guide. Wily did a great job making us all feel like one big family (including our incredible team of porters and cooks). His excitement about the Inca Trail... More

I cannot say enough good about this company. I had an amazing experience hiking salkantay trek 5d4n through them. Very helpful, organized and informative through email leading up to and preparing for the trek. In person was the same. The staff at the office do speak food English but at one point I had trouble communicating something and they had... More

I can't speak highly enough of the staff that runs Quechuas Expeditions. They created an experience that was memorable. Edgar: He was our lead guide and made the tour fulfilling - he was knowledgeable of the history and all the wildlife throughout the trek, he was respectable to the staff and other members of the tour, and he felt a... We took a 4 day/5 night trek on the Inca Trail with the Quechuas Expeditions Team. They were fabulous. Our guide--Wily--had a great relationship with the porters and cooks. He kept an upbeat attitude through out our 5 days, despite the physical and emotional challenges associated with the Inca Trail. He handled himself professionally and courteously with the staff and... More

My girlfriend and I had a really good time on this trek! We highly recomend the journey starting by Soraypampa : it avoids a long walk on a road which is not such interresting ; instead, you can first go up to the beatiful Umantay lake (2 hours trip) before going to the Salkantaypampa camping area. All was well organized,... More

I can't speak enough about our trip with Quechas Expeditions. It was a trip of a lifetime. The food was so delicious, and our guide Abel was extremely knowledgeable. I am so happy about my experience. It's a local company that hires workers from the surrounding farming towns in Cusco. I was with three friends, two of which had prior... More

What an amazing experience. My girlfriend and I were a little apprehensive to embark on such an adventure since we had never attempted anything like it. Before arriving in Cusco we had many questions and were emailing the company regularly. They always replied with answers to our many questions. When in Cusco we accidentally booked a day trip to the... More
