Gravity Peru is under new ownership as of 2016. We are updating our rides and prices for 2016 as well as moving offices. However, Gravity Peru has long been the industry leader in Cusco Peru for mountain bike tours and will continue to be! We are the best, and would love to prove it to you. The best guides, and by far the best REAL mountain bikes in Cusco - full suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, etc.

We planned a trip to Machu Picchu and wanted to add in some MTB action to spice things up. Found Gravity Peru online and they seemed to be somewhat respectable and well-reviewed, so we made reservations a couple months in advanced and put down a deposit. A couple weeks before we fly out, I emailed them to confirm our Bike... More

We had a fabulous time with Abraham-such a knowledgable guide! The first day of biking was down the paved road-we had a blast riding through the multiple rivers that cross over the road. The hotel in Santa Teresa that we stayed in (the ecolodge) was so cool! Felt like you were sleeping in a treehouse! The trek we did was... More

Our trip with Gravity Peru was FANTASTIC, due in large part to our wonderful guide, Jose Manuel. Jose helped make the entire trip go smoothly. From the impossibly high zip lines to the relaxing hot springs Jose got us there, helped transactions happen, and kept us fed. Jose often provided suggestions as to what to do in our downtime and... So, they delivered everything that the web site promised. I guess I should have read it closer. The bikes were good, full suspension Kona's with 26-inch wheels. The rear shifter needed a tune up, and there was no front derailleur. It's not needed. The brakes were VERY soft, they probably get too many tourists who clamp down and go end-o.... More

We just returned from Peru and needless to say the back door to Machu Picchu was the highlight of our trip! I couldn't have asked for a nicer way to see and experience the journey to Machu Picchu! Great for those adventure lovers looking for an alternative to the Inca trail. Our guide Savattore made the trip! He was amazing... More

We just returned from the Lares Bike n Soak. We enjoyed our days of riding but some details weren't as per the itinerary. You don't camp but rather stay in the town of Lares at a hostel. You don't get a BBQ and Beer as advertised but rather Tuna Pasta and some Tea. You are shuttled from bus to bus;... More

The Back Door to Machu Picchu was an amazing trip. My wife and I took this trip in July and could not have asked for a better experience. Salvattore was our guide and he is excellent,is very knowledgeable about Peru, and goes the extra mile to ensure you have a wonderful experience. The ride down the mountain was beautiful and... We had a hard time finding a tour company that led true mt. bike rides. All of them seem to offer the same ride down the mountain road above Ollantaytambo, which we also did with another company and was fine, but not mt. biking at all. Gravity Peru offered a one day (10-2p) guided ride down the Inca Avalanche trail,... More

This is an excellent way to visit MP. Salvattore was our guide, and he went out of his way to make sure our trip was fantastic, and he tailored it to our group, the sign of a great guide. The biking is breathtaking, although it is all roads (as described on the website), but certainly worthy of our time. The... More
